Hello All, i have added my 3 sites is google webmaster tools and regularly check my keyword positions in the webmasters Account. But problem is this that when i see some site in webmaster tools at rank 3 its no where near that position wen i search the same in google ??? can some one guide me why this is happenings and can i fix this ??? please let me know the solutions and procedure? I was having the same problem. In your google dashboard on the left side of the screen under Help with: ... click on "Top Search Queries" ....Hope this helps!
Unless you use the drop down menu, Google will give you an averaged/overall summery of "All searches" on "All Google domains". To get a better understanding of where you rank for "Image, Mobile and Web search" select it from the drop down menu. The same goes for which Google domain you rank on. For example, to check where you rank in Botswana for a web search, choose "Web Search" then "(Botswana) google.co.bw" from the drop down menus to see the results. Now when you click on a keyword, you will use google.co.bw to perform the search. Hope that helps. Cheers James
You need to wait some time, after that it will show the correct results. It is not showing live situation.
This is also what I think. Those results are not real time. It gets updated on a specific time and stays there for at least 24 hours or more...
