Where are all the senior members of DP?

Those were the days back in 2006 when people with awesome reputations used to answer queries from newbies in DP forums. I myself got tremendous help from some of the senior pros at DP.

Cut down to 2010 - very few senior pros active in these forums. Newbie questions are mostly answered by newbies (mostly inexperienced people).

Whats up DP? where have all the senior pros gone?

 

Most of them have moved on. There's still a few old timers kicking around, but the core veteran posters are mostly gone. For the most part the only senior members you still see here are moderators. Occasionally you'll see Nintendo or some of the others around, but for the most part they're gone.

It happens with most forums. People move on. Those who were genuinely helping others probably got busy with their own lives or became too successful to worry about coming here.

 

I think they all are enjoying their holidays.

Most people are too busy to post, managing several web sites and looking into new ventures.

 

I feel you mate, it used to be great here. I see a few who got banned, and even though their ban is over, they don't want to come back here anymore. I also see a few, who already have their own webmaster forums.

 

Well they have got the real tricks of webmastering now and they are minting money so they dont have time to come and answer people

 

I miss those days too. I guess we noobs got on their nerves.

 

Don't panic, we newbies will become expert with time (the time when other newbies wud be posting like what u have posted )

 

It's just a new generation of internet marketers. Learn to grow with the tides, I'm sure you can enjoy DP for what it is today instead of living 4 years in the past.

 

Different person, different filed.. i like 3d architectural designing so usually i active in 3d forums and private works.
(btw im not so old in this forum lol)

 

But i still see senior members here - here are few - deluxdon, Kerosene, sachin410 , Dondon2d, Christian Little's so not all have moved....but yea now with time we do see some changes..

 

You have made 150 posts since 2005 lol. You've been really active on dp to notice the changes.

I don't know what you mean by senior, but I'm glad I could join from the early times... it's been a great experience.
