There are no tech skills required for forex but you should have full knowledge about it, as forex trading is very risky and before investing real money into it you must have all the knowledge and experience which can be gained by trading in demo accounts which are been provided by every company, just search forex trading in google and you can get many results for that.

You need to learn the basics of forex trading and do some testing before you commit yourself or you risk losing all your cash

I'll suggest that you get a mentor before venturing into forex trading. Take a little time to see what your mentor is doing to make profits...only then you can easily follow his system.

Learn and find strategy that suitable with your style, and try it with your demo account first until you sure that strategy give you positive return. :)

I've traded Forex for years. You need a club or team to trade with. It's too hard on your own. I belong to a mastermind group and we talk via skype IM all day. We try to point out why it's a good or bad trade.

There is lots of free training available (InterbankFX and others).

Use the demo acct for a while. You MUST know why you are placing a trade. I go on only technical analysis and it works pretty well. Screw the fundamental analysis, it follows the technicals - strange, but true.

It is possible to start with such a small amount, but realistically you will need more than that. However to be honest you shouldn't even be thinking about risking any of this money until you have a full understanding of how forex trading works. It can take several months just to learn the basics, which includes learning about fundamental and technical analysis, and it can then take even longer to come up with a winning forex strategy.
