Fake PR - how to check ?

I was wondering what methods you guys follow when checking for the genuineness of PR of a domain.

Is there any tool or something else ?

Type info:domainname it will show different site from where page rank has been redirected.

 

Why do you think that people are still focused on PR today? Serious webmasters don't care about PR anymore, they just do their own thing and laugh at newbies who believe that backlinks from high PR sites will help getting their sites indexed faster or ranked higher.

Well, if you buy sites, you can always do some extra work (even if site has no real PR) to gain higher PR (in case you need it)

Key for digpagerank:

Red= fake Orange= unsure Green=true

Also you can check by googling site:example-site.com
and if the site your searching for doesn't appear it's being redirected to the first site in the result.

(I suggest you to test those sites with a known Pr domain before originally using them.But the sites are down most of the time..)

But he needs a tool to check if its valid PR or fake

 

check though google toolbar some time it is also show different page rank then you just need to go into back link of that site and back again on same page then google will show you exact PR, according to me this is the best way compare to other tools.
