    COMPETITION
Gamestop and EBGames (exact same sites and owners just different site names) currently holds top billing in the video game sales world as far as Google is concerned and will most likely maintain it swapping out sites depending upon search terms.
#2 placements are very doable and has been done for various terms for HCG.

There is a lot more to the site but you will have to ask.
I can say that HCG holds very good position in the Google SERPs and is ready to seriously compete in many of the video game niches.

    CONSIDER
A lot of work has been put into the site and SEO development (approximately 2 years worth) which has pushed HCG to the brink of rising "above the fold" (Google it) on many search terms that have Millions of monthly Google searches from a Buying Target Market.

Please do the market research and you will see the numbers and what I am talking about. You will also see HCG right there with many up and coming opportunities.

A couple of good writers and some dedication would certainly push HCG to the top SERPs in this niche. And in my opinion Top Google SERPs in this Multi-Billion Dollar Video Game World is nothing to sneeze at!

    WHY AM I SELLING?
The fact is I'm tired and need to move on to my other projects. This is a Great Venture and fantastic head start for someone a little younger and/or more energetic than I am, as the gaming niche is very fast paced indeed and I seem to be slowing down on a daily basis.

    FYI:
There is a lot of custom code that allows for product sales of up to 40% profit while still maintaining a lower cost than the major retail stores for many products.

For newly released video games this is not true and a wholesaler may be needed in order to compete with Amazon.com prices if so desired.
I never desired to compete heads up for the new titles and kept to titles several months old and beyond.

The used products system allows for 10% or better profit margin with free shipping included in the formula.

The main reason the "used games" feature was developed was more for the guests to help fight back against the economic hardships that many are facing and not so much to turn a profit, though one is made.

There are 137,012 Current Products Listed on the site. At this moment 37,878 products are On Sale while having a significant markup.

Hands On Processing Time per order is approximately 2 to 5 minutes.

Overhead costs are minimal such as server hosting(depends upon your hosting), security certificate (about $25 per year), Merchant Account (depends upon your merchant account).

The System currently uses the Linkpoint Merchant system for secure credit card transactions. System also accepts PayPal Express Payments. Other types of transaction methods available. All methods are configurable.

Complete training of site operations will be provided along with site installation on your LAMP ready server.

I am willing to freely consult on site operations for a short time as long as this is not abused.
Ongoing programming and consultation options are out of the scope of this sale and would need to be discussed at a later date if so desired.

    REDESIGN
There is also a redesign under way that has not been completed. You can have this with the purchase of the site. There are some unique SEO features which are not quite completed but are about 80% there.
The content and inner designs are in very rough test stages and only there for filler.
    http://www.homecomputergames.com/dev/
If you make a purchase from the dev site I am not honoring it nor refunding it ;)

Current site remodeling is only a matter of changing a couple images and a few colors in the style sheet.

    NOTE:
Please note that the figures and SERPs mentioned are dynamic and subject to change. So please do your own research into this niche for real time figures and to authenticate what I have posted here.

I don't think you will be disappointed and will realize just how far along HCG has come in such a short time in this Highly Active, Highly Competitive, Highly Profitable, Exciting Billion Dollar Niche.
With HCG having Google SERP rankings in the middle or above many of the major retailers, people are starting to take notice and a snowball effect may soon happen.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Some information may require signing an NDA.

I will only respond to legitimate questions.

Buyer must agree to pay all costs involved.
The transaction will be moved through escrow.com or SEDO ( http://www.sedo.com/search/details.php4?domain=homecomputergames.com ) to insure both parties safety.

Thank you for your time and interest.

    Sincerely,

    Kenneth Durham

    Hello,

the monthly revenue is $500 - is this the sales amount? or the profit amount? Also, how many uniques a month it is getting? 4500+? is that right? If yes then why despite ranking so high for so many keywords (highly competitive ones) only 4500 uniques a month?

Secondly, which company is dropshipping the games? I am from India and got quite a lot of gaming sites (computer games), so will i be able to use this drop-shipping site?

Lastly, how did you come up with the BIN of $15k ?

There is a lot to say about this site so this is a bit lengthy.

    STATS:
Google says one thing on my stats, someone else says something different, and I can sit here all day watching a constant stream of traffic with my site reporting far more than Analytics reports.
Go by Alexa then I have a 44K ranking for the U.S.
And then others report 3K per day which I am pretty sure is incorrect...
So I just average them all when regarding traffic performance.

What I believe some of these key phrases need are a little extra push to climb above the fold on the SERPs. With GameStop and EBGames (same company) holding #1 SERPs for most of the gaming keywords competing with them is the issue I believe. Not Amazon or anyone else as they seem to not really matter to the gamers.

But I'm just about pushed out to tell you the truth.
Actually I see I just hit Google page #1 for "used nintendo wii games". At least here in the U.S. Please verify if you like.
Now it needs pushed above the fold with a few articles and some back-links with this phrase for anchor text as I know I don't have many, if any back-links with this text..

    REVENUE:
As for the monthly revenue I just put in a number because it varies depending upon how hard I work each month and if I use Adwords or not. Of late I have been burnt out and not pushing it too hard but concentrating on other projects while trying to maintain current SERPs for HCG.
But a person can easily generate more than $500 per month (if not per week) "profits" if they want to work it. Yes I said work because this is not an adsense site though I do have some adsense scattered around for other reasons.

Basically what you do is select several products from the site that are priced below most others advertised prices (as many as you are comfortable with), Adwords optimize the product page, and then publish them with adwords using the price included in the Ad. You shoot for the middle of the column and not the top. The price is what stands out so there is no need to target the #1 placement.
This works very well as many gamers "price shop" as you may well know, and HCG has become a trusted site with good reviews.

Last Christmas season when I was a bit more enthused I had many days of $1000 in sales at about a 30% - 40% markup for key items. This year I didn't touch adwords and didn't care if I made sales as long as I made enough to cover overhead.

I don't believe I can tell you the drop-ship company without an NDA and I do believe they only deliver to the U.S. where most of my traffic comes from. There is also a formula and code I created to select the products so most of them are below normal retail price with the markup. Some items are put in at very little profit so the customer has a greater selection.
I also at times buy "bulk" from ebay and other auctions where you can pick up "lots" of games and systems at a good price. This is where you can really turn a nice profit. I even had an Ebay store with the same name but it became too much to handle both alone.

There is also Customer Service to consider. I often get calls asking about products and looking up prices because for some reason a lot of people don't know how to search.
You must also process orders on a daily basis. I have a total of 5 returns since the site has existed and only 1 chargeback (knock on wood)
I do fight theives on a weekly basis as someone seems to always be trying to buy 5 PS3 systems ordered from Nigeria (no offense), to be shipped to New York... sigh....
But the fraud prevention is something I would teach whoever buys the site if they are not familiar with e-commerce thieves.

Since you are in the gaming niche you know how hard some of these keywords can be to get. It has taken site age and a lot of commitment to get some of these keywords.

We're not talking about returns of 50K or so but returns in the tens to hundreds of millions. Something most people would never consider trying.
But I come from a successful Internet Gambling background and wanted a challenge that would compare. And I found one ;)

You can do your own research to verify the keyword placements.
In reality this is what is being sold and not the drop-ship or any of the revenue generating schemes. Any savvy person can figure out how to monetize traffic.
It is the years of developing and growing the site in this tough niche that is for sale.

Many will see this and turn away while others that know the income that is possible in this niche may consider otherwise.
Let's take RealMedia for example that I talked with last week and I expect will contact me for further information.

The bin is what makes me feel comfortable regardless of the $ per month times 6 to 10 months or whatever it is. As mentioned it is the previous work and now the current potential that is for sale.
If I do not meet my reserve then I will keep the site and outsource it's running.

This is no small niche and does take a lot of time and effort to place in many of these SERPs. Holding page 1 for "computer games" alone is estimated it would cost about $2500 per month to maintain on adwords.
This isn't even mentioning any of the other SERPs.

Who this site would be good for is someone that wants to take it from where it stands now and run with it. More articles, more blog posts, more reviews, rewriting product descriptions so they are not matched to what is supplied via the feed, and pretty much more of everything.
This is a fast paced niche and you probably know it is constantly changing and evolving. Something I am becoming too old to keep up with.

If you would like an NDA sent to you we would need to make some arrangements as I must verify you are not Gamestop or someone of the nature.

Thank you for your interest and please feel free to contact me with any other questions that you may have.

    Have a great day!

    Ken
