Read the full article here: Internet Marketing Tips Blog It is the second article. What are your thoughts on the value of article marketing?
article marketing can be one of the most powerful techniques to drive up search ranking results and traffic. In order to do so, the written content must be interesting and captivating to the audience to link to other sites.
we use article marketing to drive traffic to our sites while we build authority status (ie backlinks). We use a modified form of a linkwheel that drove 20k visitors to a new Halloween site this year. The kicker to this on was that we still received a few 100's visitors this month...long after we stopped promoting the site. Article marketing like any for of marketing must be done consistently over a period of time to see results.
I think article marketing is the best, but at the same time - I find it to be hard. You need unique articles, and they're pretty hard to get unless you're translating the articles to another language.
I think that article marketing is splendid, but as a freelance writer I've found it increasingly difficult to even get MY original work accepted! Ezines has failed me on greater a level than marketing...
Article marketing is a great marketing tool. But as mentioned before it's not great to send all your articles to ezine as most of the links you will get will come from the same websites and thus the value of the links will be de-valued.
I would say it is worth it if you build up a reputation as an article writer, and of course write quality articles that target the right people.
I hate to be the one to burst some bubbles but I think it's important to dispel a couple myths. First...we use spun content to submit all over the internet. Not only does it get accepted by all the major article directories, it get indexed by google...quickly most of the time. It's all in how you create your content. Ezinearticles is a pain in the ass to deal with but the amount of traffic you can get from there is phenomenal. I mentioned a modified linkwheel approach that we use...we submit to 50+ different places and then bookmark them. This is quite a potent combo. It has to be doe correctly tho. There would not be people creating article rewriting programs if they did not work. Its not always the tool thats the problem but how its used. Think of it this way... You are learning a new hobby, woodworking. You just got yourself a brand new tool, a router. Do you thing the first few times you are going to be able to use the router correctly? Not unless you are very lucky. No it's going to take you a number of times to practice to get the technique down. Its the same way with writing articles or spinning content...it takes practice. Don't give up... J
What I would say is that article marketing is definitely worth the time and effort put in, provided it is done properly. That means writing unique articles most of the time (or using a very good article spinner) and submitting to many different directories (including ezine articles).
Article marketing is the way i started off in the internet marketing. It's slow, boring and tedious but definitely worth it in the end of the day. It's good to get some start up money for bigger things
We use article marketing very successfully in our site promotion work. First we use very complicated nested article spinner scripts (10,000 words of source content to spin a 500 word article) to produce "plausibly human written" quality articles with less than 40% four-word-string duplication. We bulk-submit these to a list of about five hundred "good" article directories that we've screened from the thousands of bad ones out there. Second, we manually write high-quality articles and post them to the "top tier" directories and on guest blogs. These are keyword-lean marketing-heavy pieces that attract humans, not bots. One thing you need to remember about posting to low-grade article directories is that only search engines read them, and the links are essentially useless unless you give them a "power up" by pointing other links at the article page. ^F^
Article marketing is a great way to increase the ranking of your site. It gives you quality back links on high PR sites. Article marketing should be used in conjunction with other marketing techniques for your website. Link wheels combined with simple article marketing are a great strategy.
Also - if you didn't already know, there's a new product out that's really great for article marketing called Mass Article Control. It hit #1 on Clickbank not long ago. Basically "Mass Article Creator" spins articles either automatically or you can select the words you want to replace out with synonyms from a thesaurus, THEN you can individually submit those articles to 6-8 article databases online through the "Mass Article Submitter" included with the kit. If you're going for article marketing, this is a great way to build backlinks quickly and have quality reviews in your niche pointing your way (in a lot of places).
Article marketing is the future of SEO. Safe for publisher, efficient for advertiser, useful for users.
