I am not spamming, you open this thread for discussion, therefore I am entitled to my opinion. It doesn't really matter to me whether it is a bait or not. The fact is I am making money from it and they pay me, that is the most important thing.

Like you say in your post, downloaders like megaupload, but they have a reputation for not paying, so what is the point?

To an uploader, if your intention is to make money, getting paid is the most important thing, Freakshare pay on time, and that is the most important thing to an uploader trying to make some extra income by uploading files. Bait or not bait, FTP or no FTP, is really not that important.

If you would stop Spamming for a second and read. You would have seen where I said "Freakshare pays more than any one else" and "Freakshare pays faster than anyone else". No one is disagreeing with you there. But they show every sign of a fly by night Hosting company that we've seen in the past.

This thread was opened to describe mine and your experience with different hosting companies. Not to promote any of them like you are doing. So no, you are to entitled to your opinion or your Spamming, just your experience with different hosting sites.

So please do not Spam this thread. Thank you.

Have you tried to compress your files with zip or winrar? That, and not naming them what they are usually stops them from getting deleted. And a password helps too.

Rapidshare deletes files a lot too because all their files end up in search engines. So it helps to not name your file "Rob Zombie".

it doesn't matter...every file has an HASH CODE, if they want to delet a file, it's not important the filename, they can delete...
if a file become too popular probably it will be deleted...

    what about sharingmatrix ?

Thats the purpose of ziping the file. All you have to do is zip the file with a small word document or anything. And it throws the hash off. And cant be detected. Its uploading 101.

I would say in terms of downloads and uploads speed, Megaupload is the best and way better than Rapidshare. Unfortunately, Megaupload doesn't really rewards its uploaders.

Rapidshare can't be the best for another reason, your files can get deleted very fast due to various Rapidsearch engine.

Megaupload is definitely the best option for your downloaders. They have the fastest speeds for free users and you dont have to wait forever to download another file like all other filehosts. So free users love them. But they dont reward the uploaders to well. Megaupload works best if you have your own blog since the wait time is so low between downloads. That way you can make some extra money from ads on your blog since people will stay there.

If you just zip your file with a small word doc, do not name the file something obvious, and give it a password. Your Rapidshare files will not get deleted. As a matter of fact they wont even show up in search engines unless someone manually places them there. Which rarely happens since they cant earn any points from your downloads. RS files end up in search engines and get deleted because people name them "Avatar" or "The Office S3E14".

Rapidshare has been around since forever and will outlast all these new hosting sites popping up every 3-4 months only to fall flat. If you've been uploading for years then you know the good from the bad.

Yea RS takes so long to payout and thats why people are trying all other filehosts.

Basically if you start uploading with Rapidshare today. You wont see a penny for at least 2-1/2 to 3 months from now. That's a long time to wait to get paid

But you can't earn much with Rapidshare, I mean how? Even if your files are not deleted, it is difficult to earn with rapidshare now. There are so many Rapid leech sites and software now, people don't even need to buy Premium.

    Rapidshare (also known as "rapidshit")
There were times when they were best but they went way downhill. Rapidshare became a hell for free users. They can download files only during certain hours of the day with some miserable speed. Premium users are fine.
As for money making, they have the lowest rate out there (0.94 Euro per 1000 dowloads). With other pay to upload files you'd get points if someone downloads 5MB from you but on rapidshare you get point for every 100MB. So if you upload 5MB file, you need 20 downloads for it to count. You get points only when premium user downloads your file and it limits your earnings greatly.

    Depositfiles
    buahahahaa
One of the worst file sharing sites ever. Minimal speed combined with broken connections. If a file is larger than 100MB, you can be pretty sure that you won't be able to finish the download. When I see depositfiles links, I run away.

    Hotfile
Solid file sharing site with fair speed. It's the best pay to upload site out there. Never failed to pay on time.
But there are ranks ...you can benefit from them but more likely they'll reduce your earnings. I am platinum right now but I well remember how it sucks to have copper.

    Uploading.com
Don't like downloading from them. Haven't tried their money making program but I heard they are treating their users like dirt.

    Megaupload
The second best file sharing site in the world (right after sendspace) and even more popular than rapidshare. When I post rapidshare links on non-warez forum, people always say "someone reupload it to megaupload".
If you register as a free user you'll get some benefits like greater speed and shorter waiting time. There's also no waiting between 2 downloads so you don't really need premium. They are sometime quick to delete your files tho (especially adult stuff). I haven't tried it for making money but I know that you have to be premium user to request payout.

    Freakshare
Dunno, heard about it but never downloaded anything from there. It's not very popular yet.

    Uploaded.to
Very poor speed but they even pay for files under 1MB so I use it just for small files

    Storage.to
Got payed from them in the past but they are dying now. Avoid it like plague
