I have heard google updates pr every 3-4 months. I have a few questions on this.

    1.When was the last one
    2. Is the scan net wide?
    3. If not is there any way to get it to nice you faster?

    1. Oct 30th was the only confirmed date for PR update that I found.

    2. Most sites say it updates every three months, but it's not on a schedule style format. It just goes by the bot and the people at Google on this one I think. (I'm guessing on the second sentence).

Jan 30th should be the next update or around Jan 30th. Hopefully I can get out of a PR 0 on my website! My website was only 10 days old when it was last updated.

Of course no one really knows, but it seems to average every 3 months.

Yeah the end of January, start of February will be another update.

Pagerank updates daily, well it updates as soon as Google finds a new link to your website. There is only a visual update every 3-4 months ;)

Oh ok, thanks for confirming this. There's two types of page rank. One is seen by us the website owners and website viewers and the other is seen by the bot only I believe and maybe some Google employees.

There's also no such thing as rounding by bots from what I hear. It just adds power through small bits such as 2.73 to 2.75 then maybe down to 2.65 if you don't update until it gets up to another number such as 1.99 or 3.

Links set their own level depending on many attributes of nofollow/dofollow and how high the link value is. Some back links are just for traffic if they do not provide link juice.

Maybe you didn't mean link building. I'm not sure totally to be honest, but it all depends on levels of other things that link into you. There's no I have 5 links then I have pr1 then pr2 comes at 10 links.

5,000 PR 8-10 websites would be more useful then 5,000 PR 0-2 websites.

Here is something i found. However i have no idea as to how true this is, but you may use it as reference.
Many other factors such as number of outbound links, age of the page/domain, authority in terms of domain extension/popularity, niche, etc.. are also considered practically.

i think that Update of Page rank depend on Google, No one say it's properly because as you know that all thing depend on Google.

As webmaster, don't think about page rank, just concentrate on ranking.

    Ha - Good point!

Still i'm much happier being a PR2 than a PR0, it puts me in much better standing when asking for link exchanges with (more popular) websites in my niche that are PR3 & 4.

I would like to asked if that color green means backlinks? So if we want to make PR2 we need more than 6k backlinks?

Anyway since Google has updated PR last December 31? Are they most likely to update PR this March?
