Where to find clickbank affiliates?

I have a simple question. I am wondering how one finds clickbank affiliates if you have an ebook that you've been selling on your site for awhile and it seems to be pretty successful. I'm a clickbank newbie. Do I just post my ebook info on this forum and a couple others? Or is there some way to directly research what affiliates are out there that might sell my ebook?

Any help or tips would be much appreciated.

you basically link your ebook with clickbacnk and affiliates will find your ebook. thats usually how it works. you can promote your ebook as well to find even more afiliates. DP has a clickbank forum where you will find lot of like minded people

Okay, thx. Some of the posters made it sound more mysterious than this. Out of curiosity, can they look up the stats on how my ebook sells once I put it out on clickbank?

You shouldn't limit your affiliates to just clickbank. You may want to do a google search for "keyword" newsletter or "keyword" ezine and contact the top 20 to 30 webmasters and share with them how your offer will benefit there list and how well your offer converts.

I suggested to target list owners because they already have an audience that may be interested in your offer.

The other option may be to go to clickbank marketplace and search for an ebook that's similar or on the same topic as yours. Look for a "competitor" (but a very wise man once said to me that there are no such thing as a competitor on the internet, only possible JV partners.)

Then try and get in contact with those people because they already have a list and they have the audience that's already interested in that type of offer.

I would recommend that you be careful on how you contact them, because if you just start email them it can be seen as spam and you don't want that.

Thx for the idea, but I'm not sure I understand. Why would someone selling a book similar to mine sell my ebook as well? I guess you're saying that they will then have multiple offerings on the same subject, eh?

Precisely. If they've got a ebook on a similar topic, they will have a subscriber list interested in that topic.

Which means, if they agree to send out an email to your list, they sell your book for you and make a commission but using their affiliate link for your book.

In most cases, their prescribers would already have purchased their book, so you're no longer competition but actually promoting each other's books.

You can do the same for them as a type of "thank-you" - after people have subscribed to your list and purchased your book, you can promote their book to your list - and thus vice versa - they sell their book and you make commission.

    Does that make sense?

I started doing just what you said and it was painful. It's a great idea, but it takes a huge amount of time. The reason, in my case, is that most of the sites that I saw were what I would call super-hypesters with little content. I have a distaste for such things, so it's hard for me to be rational. They may sell a 1,000 of my books, but it's hard for me even to want to work with them!

But yours was a great idea. I also think that clicking on the Google ads accompanying my searches and on these sites may yield some benefit as well? We'll see!
