This thread is regarding back-link building :

What I am suggesting is we put links to each others blogs or websites on our blogs or websites.
I put links to your website on my blog and you put links to my blog on your blog or websites.

Is this the back-link building people talk about ?

It works but its link exchange i am also interested i am having PR3 education and PC blogs want same in return i m mean PR3+ links.

A backlink is a link from some other domain pointing to your domain.
Link Exchange is when two or more people mutually inter-link their sites. This however holds no SEO value. Link exchange comes under backlink building but is considered almost useless.

Yes that will work, just make sure to link with relevant sites.

The thing is if the back link will only benefit you ...whatever is the source it is coming from..
But you will get more traffic if you put signature in your niche blog....

I hope now you understand that...!!

 

it is a link exchange for you both agreed to put your links vice versa

and link building for your building some links to improve your website.

I checked on alexa my page
the number of sites linking in was increased
and so as my alexa rank
that works guys

I think link exchanging is the process of creating back link, link exchanging is purely both the websites must have link to each other but for back link it is one way linking, like posting links in forums

 

I think you are new on SEO, link building. Well you can check your backlink by using yahoo site explorer.

link exchange and link building both are the defiirent..................................link building means give only get link for the website.................and link exchange means....................you have to exchange the link................

What you want are one way links. Exchanges have been almost completely devalued.
