Caffeine Is Live

I just was doing some normal searches on Google.com and noticed that I had some major SERP shakeups for my site ( AlreadyHosting.com ) . I also noticed that the page loading speed was much faster..

I am no expert but I am willing to bet the caffeine is 100% live at this time.. I apologize if someone has already broken this news.

You may be right. I just did some keyword searches and image and vid results were at the bottom of the page.

This is more than a small change...

There has been some drastic changes for some MAJOR keywords...
Not to mention search results are coming in much faster which is a sure sign of caffeine. Matt Cutts said it would come in after the holidays (which have pretty much past).. I would say this is it.

I think its you who's breaking the news! Matt Cutts did mention that they were gonna launch entirely after the holidays .... so I, uh, guess NYE is not part of that (guess he was referring to cyber monday, free shipping day and xmas).

There's definitely been a change in the algorithms. I know that one of my brand new sites also had a decent majority of it's links crawled today (I can tell you that it was actually in the last six hours). Yet another website jumped 20 spots today to #6 on the first page for a keyword.

It might be the long-awaited Caffeine update, however I feel a bit skeptical as Google doesn't tend to do anything over the holidays. It could be that they're preparing to have it live January 1st, though.

I wonder how the Google Caffeine affect your site. Is it a positive change or negative change?

I believe it is a algo change and not caffeine yet. Hopefully soon though.

I'm assuming some of the bigger Search Engine blogs would've covered this by now if it was Caffeine.

I don't know if caffeine is live or not since I have not experienced any issues with my websites. And I agree with the dude above - I'm pretty sure the big SEO blog would have covered this... but you could be the first one!

For the few KWDs I follow, I see fairly normal changes, nothing big at all. It may be that results are now a bit more targeted. That is, it seems that if before a site ranked well for 3 similar phrases, maybe now it ranks well for 1 and not as well for the other 2.

So? Now what do you do? Change is constant. Google changes every single day big or small.

It really depends on your website, and it should be minimal at the most. They said that changes would shake some things up a bit, but not to the point that you would be like oh my god!

It is possible but I did not notice anything different. I did noticed just now that the results show up faster.
