Best ecommerce solution for my site? (thanks)

I currently have a site in production that sells adversiting space i.e (www.carsales.com.au)

The once-off registration fee is of around $40-50, what would be the best, most cost-effective ecommerce solution to implement?

Try Magento ..its great and very professional.

 

Try Zen-cart system,i think it is very good.

 

I would say try osCommerce and Magento. They are the best ecommerce solution available today.

 

I have been using Zen Cart now for 18 months and it is poor long term solution, SEO aspects, i.e. URLs are never good even with mods added and the options to add specific pages is not great. I am sure there is better out there.
It is free how ever and the forum is packed with people and advice.

There are lot of much easier to use an trouble free alternatives to those open source carts mentioned.

I would also go with zen cart. try interspire too.

 

Interspire Shopping Cart ?? I don't think so. It's a paid version. I think you can choose PrestaShop (www.prestashop.com), free and open source

 

There's also Google's platform, and you can pretty easily integrate PayPal stuff for simple sales, but it means sending customers offsite at some point, if that matters.

 

I heard good things about both osCommerce and Magento. There are some better alternatives but rather costly.
