You can simply sign up to gmail. You don't need to provide a telephone number. Or am I missing your question?
gmail requires phone verification now a days but it is my understanding that the new requirement is not for all countries. for example, i just tested and created a new gmail account and it didnt ask me for phone verification. so it is clear that PV is not needed for North America. i guess its only for countries where too much accounts were created from same IPs for spamming purposes
I'm sure that if you create more than one account, you'll have to verify that you're not a bot by confirming your phone. I highly doubt completely new IP addresses without already registered Gmail accounts will have to go through this process. I have a couple accounts and I never had to put in my phone. Even if I did, I'd just use a proxy and get around it. Yugo,
truely speaking, I have tried to make the Gmail account and it asked for phone verification, but at the same time I tried to make another account with specifiying secondray email and it just passed without phone verification. So may be you have to specify secondary email that should be non- gmail.
This is simple. When you're on the page of entering your information, wait 1-3 minute then submit. The system may think you're a bot so it asks for phone verification, I've came across this many times and bypassed it using the method of waiting. Hope this helps. regards, Kevin aka Luffy
They only require tele verification if they think you're spamming. Just wait a day or two, or try using a different browser or different computer in your house to see if it'll change. Usually they won't ask for this though.
But here in India and some other country's we are facing this situation, I guess thread owner want as to tell how to register in gmail without phone verification not to tell where it is applicable or not.
Gmail do require phone verification these days in couple countries, however they have taken this step to prevent mis-use of there services for spam purposes.
well gmail asks for phone verification in every country as far as my knowledge is concerned...It is a bit harsh because if we need more accounts, not for spamming but for maintaining accounts for business personal uses, then it would be inconvenient...would be surprised if google searches for any alternative
I am having this problem too, I need to create these accounts in bulk for my boss but don't know how to get rid of it. I am curious to know this as well. As this mobile phone method is very complicated and takes so much time.
