So I was wondering how many people with glasses have tried eye exercise in order to improve you're vision? In Chinese Schools they do this 1 hour a day. while there are no real scientific facts yet... they claim it helps them improve their eye vision...
I bought "Improve Your Vision Without Glasses or Contact Lenses" http://www.amazon.com/Improve-Vision-Without-Glasses-Contact/dp/0684814382 Which was barely worth the money... except for about 4 pages with really useful exercises. ... maybe it was worth the money. ...and they definitely work. I just wish I could be bothered to do them. If I do the exercises for a few days, and don't spend HOURS ON END at my computer... then I pretty much forget that I need glasses. If anyone is seriously interested in the exercises in the book, PM me. *** ***
I don't know if such exercises make your vision better or not but in my opinion they certainly make eyes more larger and beautiful. Because Chinese people have beautiful eyes. Not sure if all of them do these exercises or not.
Well usually doctors don't believe in it... however there are plenty of people that have done it and succeeded to lower their eye number... so I am myself giving it a try now for a few weeks.
put red medicine (here in pakistan called as 'laal duwai') in your eyes, believe me your number will be lowered. I myself have tried it. A TIP: But Don't take risk on behalf my advice

Also I recommend you to read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bates_method first Remember, the most important part is to relax your eye muscles... try to avoid wearing glasses when you don't have use of it, since having glasses put on just continues putting strain on your eyes and just getting worst...
Not too sure about this ... The best thing you can do for your distance vision is to get away from your computer. I have days where I don't wear my glasses at all - if I get up in the morning and go outside for the entire day (gardening, walking, whatever), I almost forget that I need to wear glasses - but as soon as I sit in front of my PC (which is most mornings), my distance vision is screwed for the day, and I have to wear my glasses when I go outside.

And this is exactly the reason why I am afraid all my effort will go to waste... just putting the glasses on will cause the eye to strain again... and when putting off you will see everything blurry again. I can't avoid not to put glasses on...
