Paypal Question?

    I withdrew $10 from my PayPal account to my SBI account yesterday.
    I checked my PayPal account today and it says 'completed' under 'Payment status'

    So I checked my bank account but there was nothing from PayPal. :confused:

    Here's what it says in the transaction details:

    Total Amount: -Rs.436.29 INR
    Fee amount: -Rs.50.00 INR
    Net amount: -Rs.486.29 INR (equals -$10.74 USD)

    and my PayPal account is verified if that matters.

    Sorry I couldn't think of a better title :p

    Well dude first of all I think you have messed up your calculation, if total amount is INR 436 then after deducting the fee of INR 50 net amount should be INR 386 and not INR 486. Anyways you need to wait for another day for the payment after PayPal declares it completed.

    Yes, it will take 2-3 business days. Most probably you will receive your amount by Monday or Tuesday.

    Usually if you withdraw money from paypal it takes a while for the transaction to go through I've found 2-3 business days works well for me.

    Be patient..You will get the money in 2 business days for sure..It's jsut 10USD..There is no need to worry..:)

    Completed status means paypal have sent the money , now its upto to the bank to process it , they usually take 2-3 days.

    Please be patient. It takes up to 2-4 banking days before your money be transferred on your bank.
    It's not that instant...

    It takes some time for the transaction to process; it doesn't process instantaneously.

    Thank you guys for replying. It's been a week and still noting from PayPal.
    I checked my PayPal account today and it says "Reversed" under Status.
    They charged me a fee of 250 INR and returned rest of the money to my PayPal account.

    So what could be the issue? Did the bank cancel the transfer?

    This doesn't make sense with the maths and all, but it does say MINUS $10.74 :D

    reversed might mean that you've entered the wrong info in your bank details. it'd be wise to check it again

    it take 3- 5 working days for money to be transferred into bank account plus its holiday here and weekend off for banks etc

    Tough Luck!!!

    With most probability, your pp details did not match with your bank details or vice-versa and so the transaction was declined...

    mail and seek clarification from pp about the transaction, if they havenot yet mailed you...
