Feedback Minor Dislike - Noobs & Active Links.

This is only a minor annoyance and I'm only posting it for feedback purposes.

As an Noob I'm not allowed to post active links, which is fine, however when I try to post simple text links I get an error - "No active links".

This is because the system is placing these tags in for me.

I then have to remove these tags to post.

It just seems redundant - I would much prefer if the system would not auto tag my post with tags i'm not allowed to use!

    Thanks

You saying he should disable the auto tagging system?

This is also a problem. But, I can see the point of the admins/mods .. It prevents spamming. I know on sites I have moderated, that spammers, join and there first post consists of links to porn sites... Or drugs..

This is a great protection, on the other hand, it prevents those not doing wrong, from the freedom to post links. Is this an addon for vbulletin or is it part of the package that does this?

Its a part of the package :) You can change settings to have them not post it.

I also have this kind of problem, everytime i report a thread i get this message
"Live links and signatures are not available to you yet (read the FAQ)."

    Why?
Shouldnt i get a message like "Thanks for reporting, bla bla bla" ?!

I brought that issue up way back when I first started. Got told by a mod that reports from new users weren't thought highly of.
