would you mess with a 10%+ CTR site?

If you ran a site that was 10%+ CTR would you try adjusting it to increase CTR to 20% or would you just be satisfied with 10?

    Experiment a bit...
Never but never hurts to try to get a better ctr on any site.
    Ideal would be 100%.
So between 10 and 100 is a nice big spread to work on improving.

I have one site that does about 11%, which makes up for the others that don't do %5 ;)

But you should always do testing to see if you can do better, otherwise you're just throwing money away, right?

Of course, if %10 is the best you can do, well, you're still doing really, really well!

Go for it! We all know 20% is better than 10%. You can always restore your original placement, so keep tweaking and test for incremental improvements. I'd wait 5-7 days in between each change in order to accurately gauge the impact of your change.

%10 is a great CTR but there is always room for improvement. Just make sure you don't screw things up to bad so you lose your CTR.

It depends on what else you want your visitors to do on your site. If you sell products and / or generate leads, etc and your conversion rate is fairly high, working to increase your Adsense CTR may cost you money in lost sales/income. On the other hand, if you are solely making money from Adsense, yes tweak your site and take it all the way, and don't stop at 20% either. I personally know sites that average over 40% CTR, and have done so consistently over a year or more. And no, they are not what I would call MFA sites. They just have well placed ads on pages with plenty of interesting and original content, that lead (not mislead) surfers to click ads naturally. One key is to not have too much of anything else competing for the surfers attention. Of course, there are other factors involved and sometimes advertisers simply don't come up with ads that are attention grabbing enough, in which case it can make it more of a struggle to achieve and maintain a high CTR.

if i were you i would try to experiment to increase the ctr to 18-20%.
but more importantly i would consider increasing the traffic.

10% is nice, i would try to improve the traffic, depending on the type of site you're talking about...

Depends on what you mean by "adjusting". Do you mean revamping the whole site, or just moving AdSense boxes around? Or something else?

If you think you can do it than do. There is not such thing as too high CTR. I wish my CTR is way higher than now.
