Well I currently have 2 sites and im gonna continue expanding as I enjoy it, and thats the main point of publishing sites in my opinion, even if I dont earn money.
100's or just 1 you can make $10 day on either. All it takes is some luck, some smarts, and some money.
A couple of websites is so much easier to manage than having hundreds of sites. We know all those pennies add up, but not everyone is a bot to manage 100+. Also the fact that a main site with the better content tend to get repeat visitors than sites with only 5 pages, everything about a big site is so much better to work with.
I am working on one... eventually I will be running three total... a google information site (dealing with adsense, adwords, seo, traffic, etc), a traffic generation site, and a guitar theory site. I think that less is more for the most part. Or at least, I would rather only deal with a few sites then a few dozen.
I have three sites making over $10$ each per day and about a dozen or so making a buck or two per day.
Well I believe there is a balance between how many sites you shouldnt have too many as they become difficult ot handle or too few as if users lose interest in yout 1 or 2 big sites, it would kill earning, id say around 6 to 20 sites is about the right number for static pages
When you are already making money, there are some tasks that don't make enough money to warrant the time. I could have said "spend" time, but it's a waste if you have to take away from something that's making you more money to do something that will make you less.
As others have said, one site will do it as will several. Depends on the site. I manage "about" 146 in total.
as i said 50 are running from that. some are directories , blogs and forums which are automatic updated Some sites are feeded with articles which are written by article writers here.
I had a site that made 10$ a day alone, somedays more some less, but that site is down now - moving server and hosting took a little too long and I lost my audience. Not only that, I had to spend at least three hours a day to update the site, which is not a lot of time but if you consider how many of you would work for $3.33 an hour? Not many I am sure. So I've played the adsense game and been excited at getting a few clicks here and there but in reality, for most webmasters, it's not really a huge boost to the income that some would hope for. I did a major cull of my non-profit and low-traffic sites recently, was a sad day, but you have to be realistic, only huge popular sites make money for the majority of people. I still have not found my niche
We've performed services for people interested in maximizing the returns on their site from Adsense. In all cases expect one.... the average daily earnings increased. Our best case scenario was a client with a 400 page website which now earns, solely from Adsense... over $500 per day. He receives just shy of 5k uniques per day with a 5.6 pageviews per surfer ratio. He's very happy with us.
Three sites One making $25 a day average (1 year old) Second making making $1.50 a day average (4 months old) Third makes nothing (newborn site)
I earn about $30/day across four blogs, only one of which is regularly updated (daily.) It can definitely be done, but you really have to network to get those incoming links
just a simple answer -you don't need more site to make more money but need more visitors to make more money ,so only one site will also doif you have more visitors
You certainly don't need more than one site to make $10 or even $100 a day, but I usually recommend people start a few, because it's hard to know which site will take off, get a lot of traffic, and make a lot. I've got a site I was sure would make a killing that makes $5-$10 a day, and then I've got a site I didn't even research before starting, and it makes more than $50.
