I have been using Youtube for my marketing for a while now. After some winning and many losing strategies i have one that i would like to share a few tips here. 1. Use as many tags as possible. Make sure they have to do with your video in one way or another, but just keep typing till you get to the end. The more keywords the better! 2. When you upload your file to Youtube make sure the filename is related to the video. Infact using the title of your Video as the filename helps a lot! When a video is first uploaded Youtube uses the filename to help searchers find your video. 3. DO NOT USE A VIEW ROBOT!!! i have used all of them that are around and they dont work. They will get you to 300 views but after that you are stuck. Get your views naturally! 4. Pay for comments. (or do them yourself with another acct). Comments go along way on a video. I usually upload a video then go back to it 24-48 hrs later and make one comment. 24 hrs after that i make a few more. This has been a great way to keep driving traffic to my videos.
You can add your URL into the video using a few methods, either watermark it with software, or use the annotations! these are a great tool for youtube advertising! Also you can put a link in the description make sure to cloak it!
If I could venture one great youtube tip - tube toolbox. this program seriously helped me out a lot. I couldn't recommend a better software program. Jason
thank you for the tips. it really help me. but now youtube has ask for phone verify to open the account. so i think your last tips it's not easy to do.
I once watched the video made by Hubspot, in which they said they made several videos and posted them on Youtube. After some while the traffic just boosts.
Youtube marketing is VERY effective i have MANY clients that use Youtube as their sole advertiser and the traffic i bring into their youtube videos is the only traffic they have a chance at getting to go to their website. I dont recommend this as i think you would do better marketing various places but they make plenty of profit so Youtube is DEFINETLY a solid source for marketing
I am not saying to solely rely on YT videos, i am just saying that it is a great way to help get traffic to your website. YT videos are just another suggestion when it comes to SEO.
You must be aware of posing comments from same ip, Google can find where does the comments originates. so try to put comments from another IP.
Yes youtube is a good way to get some extra traffic, I uploaded few videos but just didn't got even 1000 views to any of the video, so hope your tips will help, specially tags and appropriate file name, many thanks.
I would not recommend tips 1 and 4 unless you want to get banned. Keyword stuffing can even decrease your video ranking and if YouTube come across you keyword stuffing, they'll shut you down in a heartbeat. Also, why not give value to the online community and get comments that way, as opposed to buying into the hope that someone will see value in your video just because you have comments saying "nice video. great tips"?
