It depends of your site. If you have quality traffic in some niche like Travels CPA is better.

Well i would say affiliate marketing is more profitable business then G Adsene but in affiliate marketing you must have good marketing skills that how you can interact with online cutomers and it's not easy, In G Adsene you don't need to interact with customers but your site/blog must be getting quality traffic.

I've been comparing affiliate products and adsense on 50 sites (travel, health, languages) for the past six years and have found that adsense revenue is fifty times greater than affiliate revenue.

In fact, affiliate products only take up valuable adsense space, and I would recommend deleting affiliate ads.

As google moves towards delivering display ads, I believe affiliate products will decline in importance.

Affiliate Marketing and Google AdSense can be totally two different things; most of the time you want to bring your Affiliate Marketing links directly into your post rather into advertisements. It depends on what you want to do. Google AdSense takes time to set up and make money, but it usually runs by itself; however, affiliate marketing requires work and it can be made to run by itself, but it requires matenence. I'm not an expert, but you are somewhat comparing apples and oranges.

"you are somewhat comparing apples and oranges. "

I disagree. They are both forms of advertising. They are both very easy to set up. Try them both on your site if you are in doubt about which might bring more revenue. You'll soon find out which works best for you.

I must add that I've always been optimistic about affiliate products -- the ads looks good on a site (compared to adsense, say) but they just have never delivered. IMHO it's because when someone clicks on an adsense ad, they know they are not spending anything, rather they are just gathering more information. With affiliate products, you have to be ready to buy something to click an ad. There's always more lookers than buyers, that's a fact.

From the site owner's point of view, getting advertising revenue from lookers is a gift.

Affiliate marketing is better and more profitable than adsense as I think both needs traffic and some skills but the results are better for affiliate M. also i should mention that the money you gain with the same effort in both sides goes to affiliate M.

It depends on "you". Go full blast with adsense for 30-60 days. And then go full blast affiliate marketing for another 30-60 days. Which one did you like the most ? Which one you considered too much work ?

I think writing articles for backlinks is pretty easy. But I don't like the grind even when I use dragon speak ! Find your lane and stay in it till you master it.

    Why not use both?
Put Google Adsense within your posts and Affiliate marketing ads within your site!

You can easily make money from ad sense than affiliate program. However, most successful entrepreneurs combine both by acquiring a website and installing ad sense.

Depends on your skills. If you are a great online marketer, then go with affiliate marketing. It is very lucrative if you know what you are doing!

Sometimes affiliate marketing are better, sometime adsense. It depends of your site niche, and of your visitors. If you have site with some free products, you can not sell anything, for example.
