I like the adwords keyword tool, but if you have some cash than check out wordtracker.com I think they have a 7 day trial as well.
I am also using market samurai for my keywords. The software is really a big help for me. I was able to get two keywords for my domain name and I am excited to see the results out of those keywords.
Forget what everyone else says, if you have some cash spare, and want an excellent keyword research tool...Micro Niche Finder..beats the rest hands down...failing that..stick with the free google external keyword tool.
You could try IBP, it's a good tool. It has a keyword research section, a search engine optimization section, a directory submission section. I know it has a free trial... but I don't know which features it includes.
I use a number of keyword tools: KRP -> adwordskeywordtool.net Market Samurai KWC -> keywordcatcher.com Combining the services of these three allows me to find out a lot at a reasonably affordable price. (I don't like recurring fees programs and many require this, unfortunately, as this creates important overheads)

Hi folks, since you are talking about market samurai in here, whats going on with it, i began my trial yesterday, and i will definitely buy it. However, today it cant connect, because marketsamurai dot com server is down. Is this only the trial version, or cant you connect with the paid version either? If so, this is not good. The guy behind this software has gone on vacation for a week, brenthodgson dot com, seems like he shut down the server before he left! "Tomorrow, I’m packing a bag full of clothes into the back of the electric blue Mini Cooper S, and traveling to a secluded cabin along the Great Ocean Road - with no phone or internet access - for a week-long vacation" So, is the paid version working right now? If not, this software would be totally useless, cant have someone shutting down my business just like that, hey, im going on vacation, see ya, click!
Market Samurai, I am going to buy it soon. As per my research on the web and forums, majority of webmasters voted for Market Samurai over Micro Niche Finder and even Keyword Elite.
