I also think that there are many ways to making money. I am interested in E-Commerce and I want own a wholesale iphone through a E-Commerce website. I can find so much information on the website. So there is a will, there is a way. if you are interested in,you can view my profile and u will find my own site.
There is still a broader theme I was getting at here. Allow me to clarify, since the original post was made in the wee morning hours. Making money is a skill. That skill being making money. Not HTML. Not Photoshop. Not piano. The skill is: making money. This 'skill' involves connecting dots. Pitching sales. Closing deals. Funneling leads. Building momentum. And adding dollars to your bank account. Just as being able to 'generate' beautiful music from the piano takes years of practice, being able to generate large sums of money from the internet is largely dependant on the amount of practice, experience and dedication you have invested into this area. I think a lot of people get it wrong (initially). They look for one strategy or they specialize in one skill: hoping & assuming that this will eventually lead into a vague idea of wealth. Don't be so nieve, it doesn't work that way. Zoom in to what money really is. Build a fundamental understanding for what works and what doesn't. Then apply this knowledge to engage and execute on your own ideas. And when those ideas fail, keep trying - because eventually you'll get good at making money. Only then is it easy.
Interesting thread -- I just joined DP, and this has been the first thread I bookmarked. I will be sure to take some inspiration from this, so BIG THANKS!!! My 2 cents: It's amazing how people think making money just 'happens' -- everything requires an action! ...even scamming is a skill to some degree! However, what it amazing is the unrealistic ideals that some have when looking towards 'making money', regardless if it is online or offline. As a coach for entrepreneurs, I can't begin to tell you how many clients I have had with this initial problem, as they all seem to have this notion that you just somehow get to 'CEO' positions without started somewhere/"at the bottom". Whether it's ego or just flat-out being naive, those who don't realize what you have stated regarding skill-sets ultimately see failure, and continue to until a self-realization has been made. Again good thread
I think his point was to inform people about the truth, that is, people needs to find their own way and stop asking such generic questions like "how to make money". But that won't happen as all people are always going to want the dish served, no matter what. Go to a religion forum, people will ask there: "How do I become a priest?" I'm not saying that we shouldn't share our resources, we should, but not in all the 10's ~ new threads that is started everyday. I know a site, obviously not everyone in this forum is familiar with it, but it's called "Google", and it's a really nice resource for people looking for anything. ;-) For those who ain't familiar with it, the address is www.google.com - enjoy your new resource people
Making money online is about luck. I work online so I know. There are times when I make some money but then there are times when I just don't make enough.
I wouldn't say it is luck. It has a lot to do with how much you learn and apply what you learn. A lot of people learn but they don't apply what they learn.
You must generate utility to make money. More utility you can generate will bring you more money. If you don't believe me, please read some books in economics So what is utility? It is to help others. It is to solve their problems. Then those people will solve your money problem. We call it as "trade". You can only make money by solving the problems. That's all in general. How can you make more money? Simple, do only what you like to do. Money always comes after your actions not before. So, do not calculate the amounts of money at the beginning of your actions. Just do something for other people. Sure, they will pay you. After some practices, you will be able to help them faster and better. Then they will start to remember your name, will like you, will looking for you and of course will come to you to bring you more money for the same problem. We call it as "professionalism"
