Header Design - Quick $25 Before Christmas - Paypal Payment - 72 Hours Contest

Hello DP Members,

I am back once again to post yet another contest.

I have setup a good looking website. But I am no good with header design and modification. So I am looking to get the talented members of DP to take this part off my hands.

The area I need designed can be seen at the website. It is a big white rectangular area. The size I need it in is:

Width: 973
Height: 370

I need you to input a design that matched the website design as a hole.

What is the website about:

This website design is being setup for a Tax Service business. So the header design I need, needs to match that type of business module. You can try to input a nice design of a person or group of people. Or a table with people working on it. Or something around that area. You can also go to google and search for sites and see what type of images they include and work around that (note: do not copy any other sites material). You can checkout hrblock.com for an example.

At the end, the header design should be what attracts the viewer on the website. It can not be extremely simple. Try not to leave to much white in the picture.

The contest is 72 hours long. Once contest is over, payment will be made to the winner of the contest within 24 hours.

Payment will be made through Paypal. Auction end date is December 23, 2009 at 11:00PM Pacific Standard Time.

I will keep this contest updated by providing feedback to contest submissions.

WhittyCyberDesigners, thank you for entering the contest. Your design does not appeal to me. I am looking for a design that is a bit more, in lamest terms, "slicker" more appealing on the eyes. You include to much images, and the images themselves are not integrated with the background.

minucosminu, Thank you for entering the contest. I like your design, however I feel it s a bit to simple. Or rather, it is a bit to bland. Maybe try replacing the fake people shown in the image to images of real people. The structure is good, and I will definitely take it into consideration. However, if you don't mind, I would like to see a revision of it, with a bit more complexity. At the very least, change the background color to match the color used for the sites navigation area.

 

I will try to do so now, but as you probably know it's kinda hard to find quality pictures at a low price or free. I will try to submit another entry to this contest.

I'm sorry but I couldn't find any good pics. This will remain my entry to this contest. Again I'm really sorry for that.

photoshoppie. Thank you for entering the contest. I like your header design overall. A few things that can be improved. Leave a small space between the site navigation and header. While spacing. In addition, take out the girl on the right. Makes no sense. And the little golden figure with TAX on his back. Its clever, but doesn't go. Do try to replace those two with something else. Everything else looks fine to me.

Hello Track, Thanks for entering the contest. I like it, but try to replace the red arrow with something else. And maybe move the figure of the people in the background to the left side, since there will be some writing over the "click here" button.

 

photoshoppie, it looks good. I can't think of any revision at the moment. Thanks for the submission.

 

Track: Much better. One more request. Take the San Fer Taxes off the header design, because it is already included on top of it in the website design. And maybe try to replace it with something else.

 

track: It is better. Can you try replacing the blurry picture with one that isn't blurry.
