google ranking?

    Everybody wants to rank high on Google right? Well I am 1 on Yahoo for my number 1 key phrase but no where on msn or google for the same, any thoughts?

    Maybe because you used links from a automated link exchange and normally those work better on Yahoo! and MSN. Google likes few links and lots of keyword spamming :p

    It takes ages to get backlinks on Google, It all affects your PR. Give it time and don't worry about it. Just keep building links and refining your site content.

    Could be many reasons, bad quality or non existant backlinks are two that spring to mind. You may be getting a boost in Yahoo because of a high keyword page density.

    Yeah it is taking me a while to get back links. I do not use any automated linking software so hand finding sites that I want to link with is a longer process.
