Can anyone suggest a free directory script that either allows redirects for links or no follows (Both would be a bonus)? The less SEO friendly it is, the better
phpLD allows you to set all links with nofollow attribute, but I'm not sure that all the engines recognize/honor nofollow. You would be better off using redirects, but I'm not sure which scripts offer this option - sorry.
What an unusual question. Mod-rewrite can be disabled in our script. But it's not a free script, unless you're planning to have less than 100 links.
Let my guess, you are planing to create a wall of shame directory for the sites that you reject from your directory
No, although Ive seen that doen and its a good idea. Mine is more of a curiousity/social experiment thingie
Just use phpLD. Turn off mod rewrite, add nofollow, and alter the link.tpl to do what you need to the links.
