    Hey guys,

I just wanted to share you my experiences and want to sum up my article I made on my blog. How do I create a profitable blog? This is an often asked question. When I wanted to start an online business, I was always confused about the situation on the web- so I decided to find my market- and it was propably the english speaking market, so please excuse my little grammar faults ;) If you find them, you can post it so I'll learn it for the next time.

When I finally decided to work with WordPress for a while, I became more and more fascinated by this free open-source system. By now I know all the big advantages of WordPress and I learned much about blogging the last years.

Let's start- I make a more little post and you can read the other half at this article.
First we will need three things- a domain, hosting and theme. They're all important, so don't skip these steps to fast when you decide to pick a hosting company or a theme.

On my article I described the features of WooThemes and ElegantThemes. They are premium themes, this means you have more functions, a good looking design and a well coded layout/source. Of course, if you want to have traffic, you can begin with picking up these themes which are SEO-optimized.

With the domain you should think about your niche. With the Google Keyword tool you can find some nice keywords with searches about 3000. Yes, you have to concentrate on one subject. After this you can start with your blog- write unique content every day, one article a day is fine. With submitting your URL to some high PR webdirectories you'll get indexed by google. I recommend using Google Analytics to analyze your website, and of course Google Webmaster.

The plugins you have to install in anyway: XML Sitemaps, Contact-Form-7

Then get some backlinks with Ezine Articles. Please notice that it will take time to get the results! Commenting on other niche blogs can give you better chances to get a higher ranking, but always prefer quality instead of quantity. I often hear people who talks about their site submitted to hundres and thousands of directories, but still no results- make sure that you get good free backlinks.

Ok, now you should see small results after a few weeks- I mean ORGANIC traffic from google or yahoo, not referred traffic.

Keep on going and do the best out of it! Visit my article at my blog here and read out more. Learning never stops, and of course you can learn from other people. Also it can be relevant to see these posts on my blogging section. Have a look on how I build up my posts and you can do it the same way. Every day I get much google traffic at this post about the best plugins for musician and artists, and every day it's getting more and more (my site is very new, a few months).

You can leave a reply and let me know what you think about this.
    Yours,
    wpprofi

    Hi javs8189,

can you tell me your blog URL? It depends on how much traffic and how targeted your traffic is. Let me know your stats and your URL so I can tell you more.
At the beginning with low traffic I would not monetize any website, blog or not.

    Hey,
it's a nice Woo Theme but I personally don't like the colour. You should have a look at the header, blue and brown, that's not harmony.

You can easily add 4 blocks a 125*125 to advertise. I would recommend you to promote some Clickbank products with these blocks, just try it out. There is also the possibility to show an ad next to your header. But it would keep it like this for the time you try out the 4 blocks. How many visitors a month?

    I get around 2.5 - 3 K per month.

I bought it since it has the most ad spaces. Which other theme can be better than this?

Why shouldn't it be upto mark? It's Busy Bee, isn't it? I like the theme, I think it's the same as incomediary. Only the colours are a bit heavy....
