Hardest SE to get into

Hi, im new to this all but on my little experience i think google is the hardest SE to get into. Am i right? If i am not correct me!!

 

I also think on the same lines.

 

No, don't think so. Just look how many webpages are in there already. Can't really be a problem to do the same

 

Goiogle is one of the easiest to get in - google searches and finds your site as soon as you have a few other reputable sites linking to you - such as minor search engines/directories

if you submit a nedw site to some 20 or so OLD minor search engines/directories - then Google usually gets your site within a week or two

Yahoo is far more difficult to get in and Y is far slower in finding you and finally indexint all your pages

with a.m. method and a well maintained content site with unique content you always succeed.
In addition - about Google - get into DMOZ directory and you are automatically in G directory

 

Ok. getting into is not very difficult, but ranking into is surely difficult.

In life it's all about how to make happy - in business life as well
if you make your customers happy, they link to you to recommend your products or services - hence you get value backlinks - natural backlinks - after a while you have so many backlinks directly to important pages that it will become easier and easier to get top 10 SERPS.

finally to get top 10 SERPS is above all a matter of
pages cleanly presented with validated code and free of spell-errors
pages presented in an SE-friendly way, using SE friendly file names and folder structure

once you have the skills and feeling to create such top SEO pages - all your content will end up in top SERPS without use of any tools. like so many things in life all becomes habit - even to write SE efficient - it's just a matter of learning form scratch your business

you need to know exactly what you write about
to write precisely and use correct wording
you need to know what people need and search as well as how they search to present exactly what they search

the result is you get a good SERPS and enough traffic to have your share of the www

it is far easier to get into top 10 than many belief - it may just need more time to learn and practice than most are ready to commit themselves to quality and unique content. easy money seems in in modern world - earning with minimum work-efforts result in minimum satisfaction. if however you are willing to learn from scratch you will climb up the ladder of SERPS soon enough to feel satisfaction as a result of real self created success in doing what you love to do.

if you found a unique market you love to work and provide customer satisfaction - a top 10 SERPS among a few million pages still is quiet easy - if the market expands to hundreds of millions it becomes certainly tougher, but still is possible.

just look at the fine gallery2 photo gallery software - in G Nr 1 for the simple word "gallery" out of about 1,560,000,000 competing pages , a top SERPS for a non-commercial OS product - all is possible - it never is a matter of $ investment only a matter of how many happy people you have created that link to you.

 

Yes but - since it takes about a week to get into google and is more or less impossible for most sites to get into DMOZ in any reasonable amount of time, this is of limited practical benefit.

As already said, getting into G is usually only a week or two, getting found in G (after the first few weeks of special treatment) is another matter altogether.

Yeah, it's tough to rank in google.

 

What do you mean by "get into"? Are you talking simply being indexed or getting listed in the SERPs for keywords? If it's simply being indexed, all the major SE's treat my sites fairly. If it's in terms of gaining keywords....totally depends on the niche, but Yahoo is a bear when it comes to me getting good rankings.
