I was checking mattcutts blog for some info, then this thing striked me http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site:www.mattcutts.com&num=100&hl=en&lr=&filter=0 Even his blog is not spared from having pages with supplemental results
Forget that... just check out this link http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site:www.GOOGLE.COM&num=100&hl=en&lr=&start=900&sa=N what do you say ?
Does Google Sitemap really helps in avoiding the supplemental results ? can anybody have any insights on this ?
Old wine in new bottle Is that what seoengineer asked in a different way many minutes before you posted?
How can blogs be supplemental unless the content was not original right? Or did G not like Matt's content?
Don't forget that according to Cutts, if you have supplemental results its completely your fault (Not Googles)
Thats not only factor for a page to go supplemental. If a page which was indexed earlier and now deleted without giving any 301 redirects / a navigation to the page is removed, supplemental results will appear.
well atleast it shows that they apply their rules uniformly so that they themselves can get affected by such things.
