90% of the people buying here were 13-15 year old white kids. Go figure.

Ah Fond du Lac... Know it well. Friar Tucks... God what I would not do to have some Tucks right now.. A mouthwatering Prime Rib Sandwich!!! Yum.

We did the Fond du Lac PD's first wireless system way back when. Was pretty cool. You could drive around in a squad and surf the net from just about anywhere. Fun stuff.

Here's a pic I snapped one day while working out there:

I actually have never been to Friar Tucks :p

but now that I think about it, I do remember an officer telling me they regularly use a furnace at a local funeral home to dispose of drugs, I think he said once a week, which makes it seem like they have alot of drugs to dispose of :p

Good post. I think you are wrong about the California legalization issue. Its going to pass the voters of California, across party lines interestingly enough. Hell, its already legal here.
    http://www.ocweekly.com/adIndex/category/services-48
The above link is from Orange County Weekly, one of the few solid Republican counties in all of coastal California. I didn't count, but there are like 20-30 head shops openly advertising. for $120 you can get your pot card and your first oz.

I suspect a court fight about states rights will ensue and be taken to the supreme court, but I hope the newly created law is allowed to stand. I partially appreciate Obama's stance in not enforcing the federal laws in states where selling it is legal, but as long as the federal law stands, I don't think the states will go down the path of taxing it, which means we are loosing a LOT of revenue. those head shops are already a major target of theft, given the large amount of cash they are taking in daily. Putting the Mexican Mafia out of business is just icing on the cake.

Be careful about wishing for more taxes...... you are likely to get what you wish for.

The number of stupid immature people outweigh the smart brilliant ones. Pot will be legalized by vote.

Oh, I know that. And you know that. I'm just saying it's still illegal. However, I don't think the fed has any right to make it such.

It's crossing into states rights under the Constitution if it's not specifically given to fed congress, the states shall do it as they see fit.

It's like the legal drinking age. The federal law is 18, but states all passed laws making it 21. Do you know what that is? The fed threatened to withhold highway funding.

Pretty common place these days. Highway funding, TARP funds, Stimulus funds, Military bases. The Fed steps all over states rights these days by using discriminatory spending, as a bullying tool. The Democrat run Federal government is doing it now, though I doubt they invented it.

Legalize it, better than cigarettes and alcohol, technically lower taxes.... So why not?

I live in UK though :p

Don't know what part of Canada that could be. Last time I was in Vancouver people were smoking it on the street corner. Last time I was in Victoria it was being openly smoked on the waterfront of the harbor - right across from the Empress...

Yeah, that kinda threw me back for a minute. Maybe he was referring to the US and now lives in Canada??? Anyway, I find it hard to believe anyone anywhere would have trouble locating such a low grade recreational drug like pot.

I would like to thank those of you that responded to this thread. I would also like the permission of thread participants to forward this information to the Philadelphia NORML (National Organization for Marijuana Reform Laws).

I realize I can easily forward them a link without anyone's permission but I always check and double check when it comes to this type of thing - a lot of people are wary about putting their stances on high-level social issues in front of 3rd parties.

I assure you, this information will ONLY be used to bolster the case for marijuana law reform.

    :)
