How would I figure out how a domain would rank in google? I want to set up high ranking domain names and apply redirect codes to my main website but I don't know exactly how I would figure out how high the domain would rank or anything else for that matter. Please help?

Like what TruWebPro said above, its not the domain name but the content. Are you looking for high ranking domain names based on popular keywords? If so, then good luck. Most are already registered. But if you do get one make sure you fill it with solid unique content. Reposted articles and a page filled with adsense will not help. Unless you are just looking to make $.03/day.

What I want to do is register a domain name, when I register it what page would it show up on? EX> google search "awesome paintball blog". There is no domain built for that yet, so if I bought a domain name and did absolutely nothing with it, would it rank high?

No. Don't confuse "page rank" with SERP (the page your site lands on in search results). Page rank isn't determined by the competitiveness (or lack thereof) of relative keywords; it is a mathematical algorithm that weighs the volume of links to a given site both quantitatively and qualitatively. In short, if you have little or no content on your site and no other sites linking to it, it will not acquire page rank higher than 0, regardless of the fact that a search for a specific enough long-tail keyword might find your url listed at the top of SERP once it's indexed.
