    What if a person sign's in after 5 years on DP? Will that person be allowed to sign in? Will DP ban/remove the member? OR WAT WILL HAPPEN?

    ROFL'ing :) It was a security update by Shawn. Be glad he actually did it, my account got hacked and I got 3 stupid infractions because he was spamming. He set it that all people logging in the first time after that was installed should change their password. Just security, nothing more ;)

    @Shawn: I LOL'd @ Yeah... totally stupid. :D

    What if i put my username and password in a time capsule and someone signs in 100 years from now. Will DP ban this member?

    Seriously, it's almost as rediculous as your original question. What do you care if your being asked to provide a newer password or confirm your account. Obviously you don't have a bank account, because almost every week there is a new "security feature", sms text message, dog's name, password combination.

    If dp is asking for password so what's the big deal? Mods and admin are just concerned of our security and OP is making an issue for what?

    Stupid question, and learn how to count, August 2008 - present isn't even 2 years! If 5-year accounts can't login, Shawn would've been banned :D

    Inactive accounts don't use much space. It isn't messy right now, if you start removing inactive people it will all start to block again and random accounts will be deleted like what happened before. I say.. it doesn't hurt anyone, so leave it like it is :D

    best thing to do is come back often ;) dont leave it 5 years.. thats too long. Where you sent to prison or something? There would be no way of stopping me from coming here, apart from.. death :)
