Hi, First of all, i hope this is the right section for posting this question and if its not i apologise to the mods. I run a technology blog at www.techvorm.com, it has page rank of 1 and an alexa rank of 440000. Around 200+ pages are indexed with Google and it has approx 600+ backlinks. My question is how much should i charge for writing paid posts with one link ? Any comments will be highly appreciated. Regards
I'm not sure there IS an answer for that - it's basically whatever you can find someone willing to pay. Much depends on your perceived expertise. I get paid $30 per blog post on a topic I'm quite familiar with and have a reputation for, but I know some people are paid much less and some much more.
PR and Alexa ranking are not important IMO, how much unique visitors per day? And is it the link related to the same field of you niche such as tech? do follow or no follow for the link?
I think it totally depends on your budget. You should first have a plan in your mind to gurantee it's profitable.
Depends on quality of writing. If you are a specialized writer, you will get good rates but if you are a new bee, you will not get more than $5 for 200 words posts
I get around 100 UV each day (and increasing). And all the posts are related to the tech niche with a do-follow link. How much will you pay (if you had to) ??
The normal price will be around $15++ for 1 post. But you can extra charge if your client want to write more than 500 word.
Normal price for per post has to be 10 $ per if you have more expectation then you have to be professional blogger to get good rated amount then only you will be having good offers hope this answer will help you in near feature.
I think you can try to sell one post at 5-10$ per post for 500 words , its a good price imo and you can always increase it later on when you have a steady no of advertisers and when your traffic increases.
Thanks for the input. And the info will certainly help in estimating price in future. Dont you think 500 words is too much for the price quoted by you ?
The price you can charge depends on how knowledgeable you are about the situation, how long the blog is and how much your client is willing to pay. Feel your clients out a little before setting a price. Make sure to be fair to the client and yourself when deciding upon a price. I've heard of people paying anywhere from $2-10 per post depending on content. Good luck!
Its not about the client. What if client is willing to pay only 10 $ when i feel the actual worth is 16 $.
It depends what you value your time at. For me I'd charge $50-$100 for a somewhat decent blog. Probably wouldn't do it though.
