    I have just added a forum page to my site. Any advice on marketing promoting this? Is it different to marketing a web site or is it just the same?

    I do my site as a hobby so just basic things. Post on blogs nd forums. Some basic online and offline SEO. Subbmit to directories.

    The thing is the forum is part of the site really so do i need to do anything or just keep promoting my site?

    make sure they are do follow blogs and forums helps you rank better in serps i found out and related if you can

    The difference with this to a website is you need to make it look busy in that you need to get posters posting for you even if you have to pay them to do it.
