Hello mates I already did this question in other forums, and never get to a good answer... If this scenario comes to me: 1- I put a DoFollow link in a page 2- This page is indexed by Google (cache:blablablabla.com) 3- This page don't show as a backlink to my website in Google, when I do link:domain.com This page is, in fact, COUNTING as a backlink to me, in Google, and it just not being showed in link:domain.com OR This page isn't counting to me as a backlink? Regards, Luiza ^^
Google knows all the back links you have but doesn't show all of them. There was nice explanation in one thread on this forum but I don't know where... All in all, don't worry, Google knows about your link.
Try yahoo please, google won't tell you all at this case. And its search engineer is not good at this!
Hi,luizeba If you want check the site backlink, you can use the yahoo site explorer in http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com or use the backlink check tool in http://backlinkwatch.com/.
I guess If you go to Google webmaster tools-->links to your site you can able to see that Google has cached the post which you have posted..
Hi, Google don't show all the back links that your site is having, it will show few quality links. Regards, Srinivas.
yes it is a backlink for Google but Google shows only 1-2% links from your all links but it consider every dofollow link as a backlink.
When I was new on blogging I also confused about it. Well you can not see all backlinks by Link: yoursite.com, Google webmaster tool account show you all possible links, but if you search on yahoo site explorer then there you can see even more backlinks than google webmaster tool account.
Google actually counts that as backlink which can be seen at GTW. But, they shows only the quality links in link:domain operator out of the all indexed backlinks. The more of it, the better.
