you might be right there and there parking is extremely expensive and doesnt earn alot of revenue
i think godaddy have started to go more for the money then the value of customers when the value of customers is better in the long run

Best DNS control and domain management interface. Also their phone support is very professional and responsive.

Amen! I absolutely cannot stand the godaddy interface, and I don't care how cheap they are - I won't use them. I had one domain name registered there for a while, and it was a nightmare trying to figure out how to do simple things like a DNS change.

I'm the type of person who will gladly pay more to use a registrar with a simple and clean interface.

I have only used godaddy in the past and found the ads very annoying as well. Just checked out the Namecheap site and quite liked the navigation, although it is not as slick as godaddy. Thanks.

    Pros
Cheap domains especially as I write this
    Reliable, quick customer service

    Cons
Forget the login but luckily Firefox saves it
    Auto-renews domains by default
    Terrible interface for hosting

    -----------

Basically, buy your domain names from GoDaddy, and host them somewhere else.

I agree enmar and yes godaddy's domains are pretty cheap i only register when they are on special which is every 2nd and 3rd week i suppose unless the domain just dropped in which case i snap it right away

Like any interface, it takes time to get used to it, and get the most out of it.
Low domain registration fees, cause them to try to upsell you on everything else. Just look for the links that help you bypass the upselling.

I have thousand of domains with them. We appreciate the dedicated Account Executive and the 24/7 support.
We get plenty of renewal reminders and if we let a domain expire, we still have a grace period. Average .coms fees are under $7.50 consistently without coupon, and their latest deal for some people is FANTASTIC:

$1.17 usd to register a new .com <--------- not bad at all. Coupon code is "BUYCOM99"

    Pros:
I don't have issues with the interface like have been suggested. I find it pretty easy to get around.

    Cons:
I hate it that a new page is popped up when I open anything new.

    Overall all good with Godaddy.

Pros: cheap domains, excellent registrar, good support, acceptable DN control interface

Cons: Warning! Do not try the hosting. It's a fast setup but have permission problems with Linux!
Windows hosting sucks for real! I tried.
