Selling Established PR4 Street art website

Hi, here for sale is a PR4 street art website, originally purchased here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1189428

It has gone up a page rank since I bought it, but I no longer have time for it.

It has backlinks on established sites such as ukstreetart, which is probably the biggest uk street art site.

I'm afraid I don't have the earning stats or visitors, as I haven't really bothered replacing the old ads or adding google tracking, but there are stats from when I bought it on the link above.

It has some good promotion opportunities coming up, as it is soon to be featured in a book, and we have a charity t-shirt competition coming up.

There is another writer, so you don't have to do all the writing, although you would be expected to do the majority, or find someone who will, however a quick browse of the content creatin section here should find someone who's willing.

It comes with domain registration till 12th June 2010, and hosting.


Reason for selling is I don't have time for it anymore, and have a new business to launch.

 

You can check the traffic stats from your hosting control panel, Im interested but definately need to see that prior to purchase.

 

Hi, I don't have access to the hosting panel, as that's handled by someone else. I have access to the domain panel, if that helps?

If you dont have access to the control panel then how are you going to transfer the site? If you say the other guys going to then he can just as easily provide you traffic proof as well....

 

As I said, I will transfer the site by giving details to wordpress logins and domain login. The friend who the site is hosted with is away at the moment, so I can't get in to the hosting control panel, as I've never had to log in, as everything is controlled via wordpress.

I'm sorry that you don't understand hosting. I said that the buyer will be given the login to the DOMAIN account, if they leave it, they can have free hosting for a year, and if they want their own hosting, they can change the nameservers it points to in the domain account, and back it up through wordpress and SMF.

You clearly don't want to buy, so stop trying to badmouth my thread. It isn't working.

 

You seem very defensive, I was asking legitimate questions, now im more concerned with why your selling a site that you dont have access to anything but the domain account. Also If your "friend" even knows its being sold. Im sure others here now have the same concern. Buyer Beware.

 

Arghh. Just noticed, I thought your first post was the one about not having access to the control panel. I thought you were just one of those timewasters who asks you petty questions, with no intent to buy. I apologise for my response, if it seemed overly defensive.

I have access to the domain account and the main site, just not the hosting, as hosting came with the site when I bought it, and I've never needed access to it.

The person who owns the hosting and hosts it doesn't know it's being sold, no, but they don't need to. All they are involved in is the actual hosting of the site, they aren't involved in the administration, posting, anything else to do with it. They don't have access to the domain account.

My top post contains a link to the original sale thread, where it is clear to see I bought it.

Cool site! Could you give any idea of this sites traffic? Also does it come with the flickr and twitter accounts? Can you please list what else comes with this site?

 

Hi, the guy's now back. We get 1500 UV a month, roughly, I'll attach a screenshot sometime in the next hour.

It doesn't come with Flickr and twitter accounts, no, but does come with a youtube account. Only reason for not having the first two, is they haven't been created! But you could easily create one.

Ah, never really used those personally, the old owner probs did. Yeah, those will be included in the sale.

Yeah, I said that before I checked the actual stats. If you look at my post with a screeenshot attached, we get 4000.
