It took me 1 year to learn the ropes. Now averaging $20 a day.. Hopefully will be going up soon. Well done Creep.
Good job on sticking with it! I was only pulling in about a dollar a day and after some hard word, a few more sites and redisign, I'm now pulling in $10-12 per day. It took about a year, but I'm going to start another 15 sites and double that amount!
Good work, I felt the same at the start and kept having the urge to change things every day without seeing instant results. But then I went away on holidays for a few weeks so it forced me to forget about things, when I came back my sites were making a few dollars a day which was very nice. Due to the up & down daily variations and my sites having fairly low traffic, I've found I need to give it a week before judging the impact of any changes I make.
You give me hope. My problem seems to be traffic. I just can't seem to get it to grow. For instance, my baby name site...I'm trying to get google to take it for the keyword "baby names", but they've taken it as baby name combinations, which is not searched for as much.
COngrats thats excellent Rotating images is a good idea i might do tht too makes the page look like its updatin more offen
Making good money with adsense takes work. I used to think what else can I do other than putting the ads up and hoping they get clicked? But after doing some research I've found that there are plenty of things I can do to help, this site in particular has really helped me. Alot of it is trial and error too. Try a ad layout and location, test it out for a few weeks, study the results and then try something else. I've actually found it to be alot of fun trying to "beat" adsense to increase my earnings.
Good job guys on not giving up but remember always that there is a faster and easier way to learn things and more effectively too, usually people don't want to spend a few dollars so in turn they spend so much of their time trying to figure things out rather than learn from someone that knows everything about it ie. my signature and I kid you not!
Are you making big $$ after watching this video? I just want to know how legit it is. I've downloaded so many free ebooks and I've bought a few too. I'm getting tired of reading the same general tips... sure some of it is good info but nothing groundbreaking.
Great to know that finally you have achieved your goal in just 4 months.. I started my first site way back in January.. Now I have 3 sites with good contents but still not that much of traffic (60/70 unique users daily).. I am not frustrated or I m not going to give up anything but after a lot of effort if u don’t get results u are bound to get disheartened. Then take a break from all these stuffs( as I m doing today , in last 6 months I had posted 30 messages to this forum and today I have written more than 10 till now) do something else .. take fresh breath and then come back again with new ideas.
first congrats, Your current average is my next goal Right now I am averaging at $1.50 To-do-list -Traffic, traffic
Hopefully this happens to me soon... I'm trying everything, but I'm still at the "almost quit" level of earnings...
Congratulations! I have experienced this feeling myself..shivers down the spine..sign of progress!! I'm not reaching $5 to $10 a day, but give it a month or two, I just might. At the moment I'm averaging $1 to $5 a day which is great, my site has been up almost 2 months and getting around 300 visitors a day. Keep up the gd work!
I hate to say it, because it's going to sound like I'm condescending, but with over 700 uniques a day, and with a one-year old site, you really should be doing better than $5/day. What kind of site is it, is the niche a low-paying one? I would sign up for a CPM network to take advantage of the 2k/3k impressions you're probably getting from those 700 uniques, effectively doubling your earnings without losing a single cent vis a vis Adsense.
If you can put in the work to slowly build, refine and optimize your site over a long time, and steadily increase your income, starting off slow should be just fine, even expected. Imagine you make 5 cents a day for your first month. Sounds upsetting? But what if you manage to double that daily average, making 10 cents a day the second month? Seems awfully slow, MOST would probably give up. But what if you kept at it, every month: Month 1 > $.05 /day Month 2 > $.10 /day Month 3 > $.20 /day Month 4 > $.40 /day Month 5 > $.80 /day <-- 5 months in, less than $1 a day! But stick with it! Month 6 > $1.60 /day Month 7 > $3.20 /day Month 8 > $6.40 /day <-- 8 months and less than $7 a day! Insanity! But stick with it... Month 9 > $12.80 /day Month 10 > $25.60 /day Month 11 > $51.20 /day <- A ha, now we're getting somewhere. Month 12 > $102.40 /day Etc etc. Growth of course will level out somewhere; for your niche it may be below or above this. But I believe (NB: I am a newbie) that these results (or results similar in spirit, if not exact math) can be achieved if you just stick with it, have a good content site about something you like, and work at it and optimize!
