Hi every body My daily plan to promote my website is as under. Valued members of DP are requested to give their comments in this regard. I would constantly update my analysis and figure on weekly basis. Directory Submission….I submit my site to at least 100 Web directories daily. Social Book Marking……I bookmark my Web Pages to different book marking sites using only-wire software. Number of Links to book mark is 100. Email Marketing…….Sending my links to at least 200 of my email subscribers daily. Posting Blog Comments….At least 10 comments daily on relevant “do follow Blogsâ€. Forum Posting….Posting and contributing comments in at least 5 related forums daily. I request friends to comments on my activity and procedure. Is it right to market the site in this way. Kindly check my website (in signature) if any changes is needed in the site itself. I would update my activity on weekly basis.
Do not do Social Book Marking excessively for your site. Submit a pillar article now and then to the SB sites. If you spam your account with only your blog/site links, then you are going to be banned from their sites.
You have started the right way in marketing your website. I would say you have conveniently broken down the tasks into chunks. For email marketing you can use automated autoresponder systems like verticalresponse and constantcontact...
I'd go woth TeamNirvana - Don't bookmark your site only. Bookmark other sites too. But you are on the right track.
First and foremost you need to understand "who" your targeted audience is and "what" they want. You have not explined "who" your trying to target, "what" they demographics are, or even "what" your audience might be looking for. Your proposed marketing plans might not even touch on what your audience wants. Do they want ebooks, podcast, images, videos,,,, or something else? I recommend that you do some kind of brain storming or study on what the group of people your trying to targets wants. And go from there.
Be careful with email marketing. Some of your users might find it annoying to receive emails from you everyday. You can reduce the number of unsubscribers by sending out emails every 3-4 days instead of everyday.
Another way you could promote your website is through article marketing. This is still one of the best forms of free advertising around. Write a bunch of keyword-focused articles in your niche and then submit them to the most popular article directories. This strategy works extremely well in the long term.
article writing (include links to your best page), tweets and post link articles to each url. Also - this might sound heretical (considering the audience here) but offline marketing, PR and events. Sponsorship. Something that will get you invited onto a radio show for a drive time interview. Free websites set up to drive traffic to your main site. Pay someone a day rate to promote your site however they see fit...
If you have your site optimized, then you are definitely heading the right way. Otherwise, you might want to Optimize your site and include article marketing as well as blogging to the above method. Most of the method above a ways to build link to your site except Email Marketing. You only have to optimize your site once and continue with your marketing method, that way you might have some of your site/blog on the SERP. Nothing to lose.
This looks like a great plan, I would definetely try to focus more on the link building part but this is a very good start if you can stick to it everyday.
It takes time depending on your chosen keyword. Ensure you use your chosen keyword in the resource box area and blog content. Lets say within 2 to 3 months you can rank well for less competitive keyword while a year or two for very competitive keyword. Do a good research on keywords.
Very good methods but the method that works for me is keyword research and forming them as questions. The putting them through google alerts Very targeted traffic and leads Craig
Hey Craig, How do 'put them through google alerts'? I can only see how you sign up to GET alerts. can you explain?
QUALITY is the most important thing mate. Tons of submissions is useless if you wouldn't be picky. SB's alone can lift your promotions. Quality on your posts and on those sites that you post your URL's
I think you are on the right way. But before doing this make sure your onsite optimization is done properly. I would like to give you some suggestion about Directory Submission - you want to submit to 100 directories per day. But I would suggest you to go slow. First make a list of directories you want to submit, sort out the quality one, keep them on top of the list then start submission. Work hard to make sure link in the quality directories approved, sometimes you may have to register to submit links on them. Write something about your site and business. Put it in the description of the site, use related keywords , it will give you the maximum output. Email Marketing - Don't send your link daily basis. Try to send newsletter or any similar thing, BUT PLEASE NOT DAILY. I wouldn't like anyone send me link of his website daily basis to my inbox, I would mark him as spammer. Also make sure you left the option of unsubscribing from your mailing list easily. Better you use service like MailChimp, it's good and free for first 500 members. Also it will help you to keep the track of the outcome of your email campaign.
