    Hello to everyone.

I have this paid version of the phpLD and i recently installed it on www.sitesdirector.com

I want to make this one a very nice seo-friendly and user friendly web directory but know i need a good category configuration.

Anyone can give me one? It-s sime for v 4.0 users of phpLD , just go to phpMYadmin and select PLD_category and hit EXPORT. Same for PLD_CATEGORY_SEQ ! With this 2 categories exported i have all it need for my category strucutre !

    Thanks in advance !

If you have a phpLD license you should go to phpLD forum and ask what you need.

Why not make your own instead of copying all the others out there??? If you make your own it might make your directory more special and not just a cookie cutter directory.

I think they want $5 from you to make it alive again. They call that "Supporter". Give them $5 and it will become alive, like Frankenstein needing electricity.

I agree. Build an original directory instead of a clone of a thousand others. If you don't have the time to put together some categories you probably don't have the time to properly run the directory.

Yes, thank you all for your kind replies ,

First of all, I searched google very well before posting (not only google, DP also , phpLD forums also ...etc).

That 3400+ categories dump is for v 3.x of the phpLD !!!!!

I have the v4.x and the DB structure is a bit different !!! I could`nt find anything for v 4.x on the internet !!!!!!!

About the supporters forum, yea maybe i should pay additional 5$ but not right now ...

I supposed i can find some good webdirectory manager who can give me a category dump. Else ..... i will start my own !! :)

Kriss - even if the structure is different - you can always modify it. Import the table on your local machine (If you use xampp or wampp) compare the dump of 4.x with 3.x and make suitable changes - there are minor changes - so matter of devoting a little time and bit of effort would help you to create your category tree!

I finally set up my own category structure ! Is ALL done by myself so please leave here your critics/suggestions: www.sitesdirector.com

More subcategories will be added when it will be necessary.

I only need to get the Links get into the SEO way and it`s all done.

Altho I worked hard to arrange the cats and subcats ...
