I received several emails that they would like to buy a space on my website for their ads, I'm running a video sharing site and I don't know how much should I price a 468x60 space bellow the video player ..

    my site is not popular
Alexa Traffic Rank = bellow 100k
Traffic Rank in US = bellow 65k
I've also have an average of 5.5k visitors a day

Sign up on adtoll, put some banners on your site. Set your prices low until you get a ranking.

Once you have a ranking, adjust your prices to what the other sites that have the same amount of traffic as you.

Allow about 10 ads to be booked at a time. If that fills up, increase your prices.

    study affiliate marketing
the people who are buying adspace earn 10x more than what you earned from selling adspace to them

Well,my suggestion is ask them to pay by year. Then you can try to refer to the similar website or just think
the price by yourself.Make it a little higher for they will inevitably ask you to give a discount.

I'd say, look for a few sites similar to yours that sell advertising and get in touch with them to find out how much they charge. Then mark yours up a little so you can lower the price when advertisers ask (which they will). You can also become an affiliate yourself to see how your affiliate ads perform on your site. That can give you a good idea of how valuable that space actually is.

Anneke gave you the best advice.

You could also just simply ask them how much the think it is worth, and go from there.

Many of the sites I advertise in the webmasters asked me as they too had no clue.

What type of affiliates do you think would work well with a video site? I was thinking Clickbank, but could be wrong...
