Blurtit could be running out Yahoo Answers?

I found this great new site called BlurtIt(http://www.blurtit.com/) which is very similar to Yahoo! Answers. It has a similar format, but it looks a lot nicer and it's so much easier to use than Y! Answers. Think this site could eventually rank higher than Yahoo!

yeah I've been using Blurtit for a while as well. However the traffic is shit in comparison. From the same question on both Y! A, and Blurtit, I received 5-8 UV/day and Y! A, I receive about 140-180 UV/day. There is so much more traffic to be gotten from Y! A, then Blurtit, and I don't see Blurtit taking over.

Also, other good sites are Wiki Answers, Sodahead, and Answerbag. I use them all the time. ;)

Doesn't matter how great it is. Search engines will give boosts to sites they make money from.

Wow you got almost 200 UV from one question on Yahoo! Answers? I should really try to utilize that, I haven't done a ton of Y! A Marketing recently.

I guess we'll be waiting for a Yahoo acquisition of Blurtit. They'd rather pay a couple million than run Yahoo Answers in the ground.

Thanks everyone for the good tips, I am turning in to the TRON as I get up daily at 4 and spend 3 hours online researching and learning before cubicle life or death I should say begins to strip the life from me.

It can be larger, you just need to know how to use it. Having a link in your profile and signature on the site can help, along with a perfect username and such. Plus answering questions related to your niche is good because you can provide a link to your site as a reference.
