My inlinks have dropped suddenly

    My inlinks for one of the blogs have suddenly dropped below 1000. It was more than 1000 last month.What does that mean? Am i doing something wrong.Or is it temperory.I use yahoo search site explorer to see by back links.Pls answer....

    The number of links shown by Yahoo Site Explorer can fluctuate wildly, so I wouldn't be too concerned about this.

    imagine such situation: you had one link from any website blogroll, yahoo show it like 200 backlinks (because actully it is on all pages) and then the webmaster just removed your link, so now you understand why the backlinks amount can fluctuate?

    May be your links have been removed form that particular websites.

    There may be two reasons for that, either those links has been removed or Yahoo de-indexed them.
