SEO consists of two parts the on page optimization and the off page optimization. you should start first with the on page optimization and optimize your web pages by creating quality unique content and use the right keyword appropriate to your targeted keyword then place some meta tags and after you obtain this method you can start off page optimization by building quality backlinks to your website.

 

doing seo for a new website would be riskier,try update the site with unique content for some time them go for seo.

 

Good advice. I have a new site and spend all my time posting to forums, blog coment, hubs, etc... trying to create backlinks. Doing this I donn't have much time left to update my site or blog.

I'm going to take a break from this and concentrate on my website content for now. Does this sound right?
