CPM for somewhat questionable site

I am running a site that allows for streaming TV shows as they are released. Now, I am trying a few methods on site such as affiliates and CPA advertising, what I am curious about is how accepting most advertising networks are of these kind of sites.

At the moment, I am using Bust Media, Smowtion, and AdsDaq on another site of mine, with Smowtion currently giving me absolutely brilliant CPM's, has anyone had any experience with Smowtion in this kind of scenario, and if so, would they be likely to serve ads to a site that redirects users to another site that streams the content? (other site hosted by me. :p )
    Cheers

Smowtion is one of my favorites apart of the network I work with myself. They have great ads and good eCPM. However, with your issue they will still accept your new site but it will effect your eCPM. You will have to go with something like exitjunction.com or try the ad network i represent. We accept almost everyone and have a flat rate eCPM. http://www.4d18ent.com/

I will look into both Smowtion and using Exit Junction. I like the idea that Exit Junction has, and would like to put it to good use, just a bit skeptical as always as I dont know anything about how good or bad their CPM's are

question about the site you represent:
    1. have you paid anybody yet?
    2. do any of your banners contain redirects? I left clicksor and adonion because of that
    3. malwares, do you filter your advertisers? sometimes they have malwares that cause visitors to run away, or worse, google and firefox block visitors from coming to my site because of bad banners

I'm currently running adbrite, smowtion, topeuro and bidvertiser and very happy with them, if you have paid anyone here with proof and no redirects / no virus on your banners, I'd be more than happy to use your services, I already referred 8 publishers under me to those networks too, that's why I make ok money with them

    1) yes multiple people. I am not sure if there are any on this forum but if there is anyone please help us out by posting proof of income. (we pay by paypal)
    2) No. None of our banners contain redirects and if at any points these redirects do show up we remove them immediately.
    3) Absolutely no malware. We filter all direct advertising inventory.

    @ajmalhuuss

At your site it says that has low minimum payouts for publishers but after registering at account setting it says that the minimum is $250 dollars.

And another thing, I am alreadt using Smowtion and i see that the bulk of your banners are also from smowtion, does it gets me that in trouble?

It's a no go. I only put one 300-250 banner and receive pop-ups, here is the latest pop-up, it's to this site:
    http://www.imsobored.net/adz/travelny.html
    Code (markup):
and it does hidden searches, my site was loading over a minute and i was watching the status bar changing links every second.

does it slow your site big time? or redirected your visitors? I'm kind of traumatized with topeuro.biz by this one, but they DID pay me, which I respect.
Did your kaspersky find any virus or malwares? Can I have the link to your site and let my antivirus browse it? thanks

I reckon AdBrite would probably accept that kind of site too.
    They're generally pretty liberal.

Yeah, after consistently putting up with 3c CPM's, I gave up on AdBrite a long time ago. I'm worth more than that. haha

I had their banner for ~30 minutes and after every single opening did that (popups and hidden searches) i removed them from my site. In that time i didn't saw any virus but maybe if i let them longer it would have come up some pesticide, maybe not.

I am not sure why it says that actually but It whould be around $50.00 for paypal. and as far as getting in trouble for using smowtion ads, no there shouldn't be a problem.

This is absolutly true. There are a lot of popups for almost every ad code. (atleast 1 from my own experience). But then again the eCPM is not all that bad either. So gotta give to get i guess. And I am not sure about the whole searches in the background issue. I have never noticed that myself. Maybe it was a different reason for the slowing?

Actually it wasn't another reason for the searches, they appear after i placed one banner from your network (300x250) and the searches and the popus started, and after i removed the banner they stopped and the site was loading completly in few seconds.

And as for the minimum payout, isn't you the representative of the 4d18ent network, aren't you supposed to know what is the minimum payout? I tried to set the minimum payout to lower amount $25 $50 $100, it wasn't working.

Give one week tests for every new one programs and you will know whats most profitable for you, also watch out for it and have 1 program at time to be sure if theres something wrong then you will know from who it comes from.

Okay I just called up someone from 4d18 and they confirmed that banner ads 300x250 and 120x600 both have an auto update ad that changes the current banner every 12 seconds or so. This could have been the reason for the slow load.

Yes its true I am a representative and as such I am only privileged to certain information. From what I know the minimum payment is $50 but the network may change that for certain sites.

Does 4d18ent pay publishers by check or money order? I signed up and the site is a bit difficult to navigate. I see the minimum is $50, but I also heard people say it's $250? I'm confused, can someone guide me here?

You are expecting too much from www.4d18ent.com
Who do you think there advertisers are I can bet you anything they do not have any real advertising other than those provided by smowtion(has malware), and other bad and easy to get into ad networks.

So they refresh ads Your users will want to kill u if you add those since say they are reading an article and after half way there is a refresh with an ad that has redirect (All bad adnetworks have those). The redirect will be likely those sites that show "You have virus on your computer" download me and you will happy!

ajmalhuuss is likely the owner and the only person related to that site cause he seems to be doing all the publicity of the network.

So guys just stay away from these small ad network they are very sneaky.

And about smowtion malware one of my friends added the code too his blog and his site was said to contain mal-ware as stated by google. After smowtion was removed the site was nonmalware!! So stay away they will do anything for money!!!

First off, you have no idea what you are talking about. There is not a single publisher on 4d18ent ad network that has complained about malware. The worst thing this ad network had was audio ads which are for the most part done away with.
