Some weeks before i posted a thread that had a firefox addon pack with it.
i got infraction for that thread.
Reason is that the files are hosted in ziddu.com and its a pay per download site.
I just want to know if any one unintentionally posted a link from pay per download site which is having really a useful stuff, do you give infraction to the thread poster ?

Even if it may be a rule of DP, is that a healthy one ?
    please clarify.
    Thanks.

how can you unintentionally post a link from a pay to download site?

if you post a link from a site like that, you know exactly what your doing.

    what do you mean.
All those who upload to a file hosting site should know whether that site pays for download or not ?
    this makes no sense.
Okay even if they know that site pays for download so they should not share that file with any other ?
I dont know that Ziddu pays for download untill a moderator deleted my thread and stating the reason as "ziddu is a pay per download"
Can you see my point ?

    no i don't.
posting links from pay per download sites is against the affiliate / referral link rules here at DP.
anyone with half a brain should realize that, yes.
thats correct, no sharing here as it violates the rules. find another way to deliver the download.

It's your responsibility to know what kind of service you're using before advertising here. If it violates the rules you're eligible for an infraction whether it was intentional or not. Infractions are warnings so you learn not to do the same thing again.
