Can I buy with paypal without adding a cc?

When I tried to make a purchase from walmart, paypal asked me to add a cc to complete the purchase. Is this only with walmart or is it this way when you try to purchase from all sites with paypal?

Is there any way around this?

It is a prepaid debit card. Do you think that is the reason for this protocol?

 

I just checked and saw that my sending limit is $0. I know that this means that I cannot send anyone money, but does it also mean that I cannot buy anything, even from a site with a paypal button?

Why is your sending limit zero?

Paypal accounts even if not verified, do have some sending limit but it is not NIL.

Do check if your account is limited or not. Zero sending limit is only in such a state or when there is no balance in your unverified account.
