This was a great game, Manchester United had control of the game and wins against Wolfsburg 2-1. Brilliant goals by Giggs, and Carrick. Alex Fergusson records his 100th Champion League win. Dzecko scores his first ever Champions league goal.

So, basically a rather delightful game. I'm thrilled :D

It was great game and I am glad to see we are getting goals from brilliant passes of Giggs and Micheal's goal was purely beauty. We have 6 points out 6 and it will make work easy for us.:)

I certainly expected a win, but a draw means a precious point, and is any day better than losing. Unexpected results cause I expected to win, but great result at the end to pull back from behind so late in the game. Great going for United.

I also watched the game last night, and I can say one thing - Berbatov is a genius. As you may have noticed in previous games, he has unique control over the ball and as you said, can create miracles.
Sunderland played well, very organized and deserved at least one point.
I am looking forward to the next games of Man Utd and Dimitar Berbatov :)

i dont think manutd is gonna win anything this season.
man utd is one of those teams that always relies on 1 person. sorta like barca.
next season rooney is gonna step up and become their 1 player

I certainly think Man Utd is going to win a few trophies this year. Our loss this week to Besiktas isn't something I'd like to remember, and neither the league loss week before that.

Yesterdays game with Porthsmouth was so much more rewarding and our 4-1 scoreline truly impressive. We love Rooney, don't we.

I'm actually very keen on today's Chelsea Liverpool crash, and would love Chelsea to lose just so we inch closer in terms of points.

But that's that, and honestly as the seasons shaping up, looks like we're on, a few defeats is something we have to take in our stride.

    Go Man U, go. :)

Yes Rooney was too good in the match and after many years I seen Alex use 4-3-3 format which sometime not work in the match when we have cross from wing, there was only one men in middle!:D

It's really scary now that Chelsea won yesterdays game too, they have an 8 point lead. I was really hoping that Arsenal would win or draw to keep their points from increasing. Chelsea is on a rampage and have beaten Man utd, Liverpool, and Arsenal this season, and I'm not liking it. I love Terry but common, damn.

The only hope would now lie in Man Utd winning every game that comes their way, and Chelsea lose a few. With the points table having such a prominent gap right at top, Man Utd is certainly going to be under pressure whereas Chelsea's injury's don't seem to affect them because everyone's playing well.

One thing's certain, we can't afford an injury, and playing a young team may not prove to be beneficial as was the case against Besiktas.

Well you did mistake, Chelsea only 5 points ahead of us and we know last both season we were same position but we came out as a winner so I have no doubt on us! Chelsea will surly face problems when their key players will go in African Nation Cup and we know in second half Manchester United always be a strong team in many years!

A slow start doesn't always have to be bad. Manchester United is dealing with too many injury laden players but they still managed to pull off a wonder. Scholes's goal did come in very late but that certainly was a super strike.

3 more goals in the 2nd half, so Man Utd reduce their point difference with Chelsea. It's just 2 but we'll have to wait for the Chelsea Manchester City game to conclude.

    @Rohit: Yes, you're right, I mistyped, wrote 8 instead of 5.

    Cheers, and regards, n.

Yes the shock factor sort of saddened everyone but this season is looking up already. We're in a good position and with a few more straight wins, things will look better.

Yes, yesterdays game was great to watch with so many goals and great passes.

Chelsea lost to Manchester City, so the get no points on the scoreboard, so now we're really close, only 2 points separate Manchester United and Chelsea, and very soon we could be at the top of the table.

We simply need to deal with our injured players and get them back to required fitness levels to ensure winning performances every time.

Here's another shock element that could just be lurking around the corner.

After their last Champions League defeat to Besiktas, what can we expect in the VfL Wolfsburg vs. Manchester United FC encounter today?

Will Sir Alex have to play a young team considering that most players from the first team are injured. We really don't have much of a choice, so, is this a lost cause already, or will the young team stand tall today?

A few more hours, and we'll see it all.

    Cheers to the Reds.

    Very true :)
Certainly this weeks Champions League was for us to win. 3 goals from Owen sealed a brilliant victory, and we certainly love that. :)

    Cheers.

    Like wise :)

This one has been yet another shocker.
I wasn't entirely expecting Chelsea to be contained but Everton played brilliantly. The results meant Chelsea only managed to get 1 point at the end of full time. That equated to a 3 point lead in comparison to Manchester United.

Man Utd was playing Aston Villa later in the night. All they needed to do was win the game and they'd tie with Chelsea at the top. that's what almost everyone expected especially with Astons losing record against Manchester United.

That's as far as wishful thinking can take us. Man Utd lost the game, and are still 3 points behind the Premiere League leaders at the moment.

All of this now makes Aston Villa a strong contender for the top 4 tag.
Now, everyone's going to watchou for tomorrows big game between Liverpool, and Arsenal, to see who inches their way closer to Man Utd's title.
