Need some info on PayPal

Hey,

I made my account a business account for some reason - can't really remember why. Anyway I emailed PayPal asking them to downgrade my account to Personal, however, I got an email back saying it can only be downgrade once, i.e. after that if I make it a business account again I won't be able to make it personal again.

My question is should I keep it as a business or personal account? I have a few ebooks I will be selling soon and I am blogging on starting a new blog soon as well.

Well you can keep the business account if you really have business set up or else you can keep this account and can open a personal account under your name. PayPal allows you to keep two accounts with out any problem.

Yes every PP acc only eligible to down or upgrade once per acc.
But in your case,its best interest for you to make another PP personal acc.

 

If you are going to be accepting CC via paypal then its worth having a business account. When people pay they will also see your business name instead of your real name.

 

That again depends on how much money you gonna receive and what will be the funding sources. If you think that you will receive most the money from CC's then I will prefer you to use premier account. In case of few CC transactions, remain it as personal one. In personal account I think you can receive only 5 CC payments. So make decision accordingly. Hope it helps..

 

it is ok you have business account. you can do transaction normally or u can create new account with same your name. i have 2 accounts with same names.I am still ok

 

I find no need to downgrade your current business account when you can open another personal account officially.

There is just no harm or expense in keeping both the accounts active simultaneously!

Yes, paypal allows 2 accounts per person...There is no need to downgrade

 

Yup since 2 accounts are allowed , no need to downgrade them unless you have a problem getting a debit card for verifying it lol.

 

You can use another paypal account, what is the problem? Paypal does not allow to play game with it to upgrade and downgrade the accounts.

 

You can open two Paypal accounts: 1 Personal and 1 Business account.
You can keep your Business Account then open up again a Personal account.

Just keep the business account since you are running a business anyway. It looks professional that way.
