Hello, I just want to read your opinion on how you manage your identity while promoting Clickbank product? Do you use your real info such as name, picture, etc? Or do you use made up names, other people names, names that you create yourself or something like "The RC Flyer Guru"?
I use pseudonyms on my products. Some names and personalities fit better with the product and connect better with the target market.
If you're a guy promoting women's makeup and stuff related to females, you would have to use a pen name, of course. I mean, if you're a skinny guy posting picture of yourself promoting the weight loss guide for women, that would seem weird. LOL.
As an affiliate I never put my name down. On my CB accounts I put my real name down, but as a vendor I write under an alias name and portray myself as an expert in a certain field. This should answer your question.
I use a psedonym. Most of my niches would match my profile (young guy) so I use my real photo a lot, though, and real experiences most of the time. I just don't use my name cause I sign up with a lot of networks and article directories and stuff with my name and have some articles under my real name that would give away niches.
I personally use a different pen name/character per niche I am promoting. If they are sub-niches, I will use the same character as the parent niche -- sometimes not. The last thing you want people to see is that you are an "expert" in just about every niche genre you want to promote. If they see you as "Joe Bloe" promoting dog training, it would be kind of odd to see the same "Joe Bloe" promoting a resveratrol supplement, claiming to be an authority in both niches. That's just how i do it . . .
