I always found E-Gold to be a tiny bit of a hassle. As you don't just deposit money in with a credit card.
Paypal is useful, although there are always a few people who seem to loathe it.
Stormpay, I despise this payment processor. Extremely high fees and that they screwed me over... =/

    I'd recommend Paypal..

I have only used one so far and that is PayPal..it is quite convenient because most of other webmasters use it too...
The only way to use stormpay as a payment processor now is to buy and sell only on stormpay auctions...if I am not wrong
Money bookers and E-gold are used ,but not much..their popularity is lesser than PayPal and they r more preferred in countries which are not accepted by PayPal

Since I haven't used M.Bookers and E-gold ,I cannot compare them with Paypal at this moment atleast...But take Paypal for wider acceptance and simplicity:)

Paypal seems to be very popular and almost everyone who can have an account would have one.

E-Gold is nice but it can get complicating because you need to buy egold from an agent and more complicating if you want to exchange egold for money.

Moneybooker seems like a nice deal but it doesn't work with all countries. It however seems to include countries which Paypal doesn't.

Stormpay can only be used as payment platform for auctions through Stormpay Auction so it probably isn't that widely used.

If you can, sign up with Paypal and use Paypal. My second choice would be MoneyBookers followed by a very distant E-gold and Stormpay is not on my list.

I know you didn't mention it but I have used all of the above mentioned and one more www.epassporte.com I personally perfer Paypal and Epassporte.com

I am not sure why epassporte.com doesn't promote it's service to more people but they offer you an ATM card to withdraw your money and a Virtual Visa that I personally use to pay many things and you can make a transaction of $500 for only 25 cents so I would say it is the lowest cost and the reciever pays nothing so more good news there is an anual fee but it is only $5 I think and the ATM card is $35 if you choose to get the ATM card it is completly optional

by the way I am not an affiliate of epassporte nor do they pay me to say this I just wish that more companies and people were ussing them instead of say paypal don't get me wrong paypal has many things epassporte doesn't and epassporte has many things paypal doesn't but I would love to see epassporte become as widely used as paypal

PayPal covers around 55 countries. All can deposit but less than half can withdraw money. PayPal can process credit cards from some countries of the 55 listed. My rating: 1 out of 5.

E-gold is anonymous and secure. No worry over chargebacks. But it's hassle to deposit and withdraw (or just say exchange the gold to dollar). My rating: 3 out of 5.

Moneybookers is very good. It covers many more countries than Paypal does, maybe even most countries. Fee is extremely low (0.5 EUR max for any amount). Deposit and withdrawal is easy and fast thru credit card, direct deposit/debit, wire transfer and check. My rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Stormpay, scammer! Don't touch it if you don't want to get burnt, seriously. 0 out of 5.

Epassporte provides debit card for use at ATM or store. They cover most countries. The con is they're eager to ban you anytime if you happen to send money to suspicious person. 2 out of 5.

i like moneybookers because they offer easy creditcard integration for shop operators who don't have to many cc payment, but still want to offer it as a service, no chargebacks (but 9% fees). getting quite popular with my customers (i'm in germany).

Paypal is an almost standard you have to offer.

don't know egold and stormpay, not too popular over here.

There are many exchangers online that will buy e-gold from you, paying you by cheque or wire transfer. Some are listed here.

About stormpay, I'll say from experience that they have a fraud screening procedure that can only be described as excessive. They reversed a payment I had received sometime in August '05 because they couldn't contact the sender of the payment to "verify" the transaction.

Paypal is more widely used and recognized payment processor. Moneybookers is a good option and is available in few countries where paypal isn't. The good thing about egold is the transactions are irreversible.

Not a few dude, more than 80 countries! PayPal covers only 55 whereas moneybookers covers more than 130 countries.

I use them all and also Google Checkout, but not a fan of moneybookers.com as it charges for withdraws to banks. Paypal does a30% deal say if some pays you $14.95 you only get $14.07 out of it.

2checkout suck because their "verification" process where they call your clients to verify if they have received what they ordered. It makes your website look extremely unprofessional & it is embarrassing.
